There were supposed to be free pancake breakfast yet there was none and there was always a long line at reception.

Had an absolutely fantastic time at this hostel and on the Dingos Fraser Tour

Dingos is a very lively hostel & feels more a place you would stop over (before heading to Fraser Island) rather than have an extended stay. The rooms are cleaned daily, along with communal kitchen . You have the opportunity to buy meal tickets for $6 (inc a pint for $10) depending on how many guests take advantage can determine on your portion size but the food was very good. The hostel has its own pool but is kept in shade & not appealing in winter but who cares when the beach is 5 mins away!

Very nice hostel. $6.00 dinners every night plus free pancakes in the morning were fantastic! Free sunset walking tour to Carlos Sandblow was excellent as well!!

They had no room available! Whitout asking they called a other hostel and asked if we could stay there. I didn't know where we were going but had the pay at dingos resort and walk to the other hostel. Very strange! Didn't even say sorry.

Rainbow beach doesn't really have a lot there. Would only stay one night max if going to Fraser Island. If not don't bother at all. Restaurants close before 7pm and there are only a couple of bars there. Dingos was fairly nice for what it was.

Negative: no lockers in the rooms; Positive: free wifi (peterpans, but very slowly), free pancake breakfast if you like to get up early (7am)

The rooms were quite clean and a great location to pick up any premier or greyhound bus cause the bus stop is across the street. The pancake breakfast was great and actually filling - 2 pancakes and they even had peanut butter! The hammocks were great for reading too

Nice hostel but very young crowd.

Everything about the hostel is good except check out is a little early (9:30am) and there are no lockers in the room. Everything else was good. You can't go wrong with free breakfast, pool, right across from the bus station and close to the beach.
