This hostel has a great atmosphere. It mainly caters for people going to Frasier Island. Be aware of this if you are just going to see rainbow beach. 2 nights is enough if u just want to see rainbow beach.
Really good place to stay. Close to the beach and to the greyhound bus stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Pancakes for breakfast and cheap meal for dinner everyday. The room has an automatic air conditioning that just works during the night, but it is really good. I would recommend for everyone.
great pancakes in the morning but limited availability of cutlery
Good pool and chill out area. Staff were unenthusiastic.Hostel has a bar with ok happy hour deals, but no BYO, huge pain. Bathrooms could be cleaned better. No Lockers in the rooms means security risk. The bar and patio are used as briefing rooms for large groups going on Fraser Island tours and it made the place feel crowded all the time. Wi-Fi was bad, even for Australia. The bar had a cool live band play. very average place
Well, really it was a bit of a nuthouse due to it being the stop-over house before and after Fraser. So, cleanliness suffered and naturally the staff were a bit hard-pressed. Great place to go for a few drinks though and the meal deal is awesome.
Could do with lockers in the rooms. Staff were great. The meal deal is also great.
