Staff not very knowledgable, on check in we asked for a map of the area, the girl said she did not know where we could find one, we later found 2 information centres very close by. 7 bed dorm spacious but other guests always left our door unlocked. Free pancakes were great but only 2 each so doesnt fill you up! Dingos charge for internet use but there is a peter pans next door with free computers and free wifi so dont pay dingos for it! Kitchen way too small to cook in.

This was an awesome experience before and after Fraser Island tour and the people became like family. The food and drink are awesome, hostel clean and bright and close to the shops and beach.

The hostel itself is nice and clean. The bar is good and has good prices and offers dinner lunch deals for $6 or $10 with a pint of beer or cider. Ate the Burritos there and they were really good. You should definitely get up at 7am and grap the free pancake breakfast. They make them fresh each morning in front of your eyes and you can top them with jam, sugar/lemon juice or peanut butter. The hostel is good just the poorly equiped kitchen, where you are basically not able to cook any food.
