The location, staff are great! We went by the hostel on two different occasion. In both of our rooms were small and we only had one electric plug, witch is quite annoying. Also, there is no ink for the printer; we had to walk around town for a while before finding a copy center.

Staff were fantastic and room was fine, but it is room 26 and next to the toilet - you can hear EVERYTHING, which is a) disgusting and b) makes it difficult to sleep... please do something!

I really enjoyed staying at this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent.

If you are looking for a central spot, then Dioskouros is a great place, being near to most of the central tourist attractions. In terms of the price, it is decent considering the high prices of accommodation in Athens, however I consider the price high for the services included. The down size of things is that the building has very thin walls, making it an issue in case your room is very close to the WC/showers or there are groups of very loud guests. The breakfast was very good! Thank you!:)

This is an overdue review, but better late than never. This hostel is great! Location is perfect and the staff are amazing, always ready to help with anything you need. Rooms are neat and clean, Toilets were clean and wifi was good. Enjoyed watching movies on a nightly basis and just chilling out. Will definitely come again when I'm in athens.

the staff is so friendly and its very close to everything. but it is very cold and not as nice as on the pictures. and i was staying in a female only dorm, but the last night there was a man staying there aswell, with his girlfriend. thats not ok, they should have stayed in a different dorm, if they wanted to sleep together.

Location was great, got an awesome rate for a private room, cleaning lady was lovely, rooms very clean, reception girl was very helpful. Kitchen not very clean, toilet seat broken on second floor, showers not fantastic, when we checked in the guy couldn't tell us where a laundry or supermarket were (never ended up finding them either). They turn off the power in ur room during the day but if u ask, they'll put it back on (it's very cold). Cheap beer in vending machine!

Stayed there 2 nights.Location is amazing as it's very closed to the main attractions. The room was clean, warm and specious.Staff were friendly and helpfull.Breakfast every morning is quite good however, they had only an electric cooker so if u wish to cook somehing by yourself it might take a long time.

A perfect room for its price! We all got comfortable here. It's better to enhance WiFi signal for the high level customers and keep the breakfast nice and delicious. It is OK to higher the price, while the things are going well in the future. Anyway, Thanks for the room.

I visited this hostel and they shifted us to another hostel "Hotel Fivos" because if some plumbing work there. The staff was very helpful in guiding us, and hinted that the new hostel is a better one. But my experience at "Hotel Fivos" was very bad. The breakfast was pathetic and the rooms were unclean. The common toilets were disgusting without proper locks. So, since "Hotel Fivos" was pathetic, Dioskouros might be worse.

Best staff ever. The Hostel is overall great and in other hand toilets/bathrooms could be improved.

I was happy with it. It's in a great location, cheap for the area. They had hot water in the communal showers but not in the bedroom wash basins. They have a cute garden area with cats.

Thanks guys for a nice stay

i spent around 3 weeks in this place . clean towels and sheets hot water 24/7 . it has the best location as its in the heart of Athens, it is just a walking distance form the main touristic places in Athens. The staff is more than helpful and more than willing to walk the extra mile for people needing help. they is always someone in charge inside the hostel. No curfew but still the main door is locked which gives a sense of security. Loved my stay :)

This location was very easy to get to from the airport as Syntag Square is an easy walk from the hotel. It also was located in an area I felt safe in after dark, easy walking distance to the main attractions in Athens. The staff was very helpful in giving us great tips and advice and the breakfast, while simple, was DELICIOUS!

Great staff, great cats, great location, great price.

As many of the other reviews mentioned, this hostel is fine but does not really offer anything special besides its prime location. The staff (for the most part) is very friendly and helpful but the dorm rooms can be cold and rather small, not to mention the showers with their telephone booth-style doors, the cold lounge area, and the kitchen with it's one working cooker. It's not a bad choice for your stay in Athens, but I am convinced there are better options out there.

This is the worse place I ever stayed in ! It needs to be fixed and repaired allover Noisy, dirty, unfriendly owner (staff Ok, though). If I haven't had booked through internet, I would have moved to another place. The location and the nice lady baking french toast for breakfast are the only plus.
