Other than being a little cold during spring in the lowest floor it is a great place. The staff knows a lot about touristic places and about the best restaurants in town and its central location makes it ideal to the Akropolis, Monastiraki Station, Flea Market, Souvenir Shops, Olympic Stadium, etc. A bit austere also.

Although the location is amazing and the accommodation is cheap, the staff seemed unfriendly and the hostel did not seem clean. My friend and I sneezed the whole night because the blanket was very dusty (though it was necessary because there was no heat). The bathrooms were scary enough that we just didn't shower while we were there.

Fantastic service. The location is great. Very close to everything : food,archeological sites,metro. Easy to go around by foot. You might not see the Acropolis from your window but for the price and all, it's really not a big deal! I had a great 3 days in Athens because of the staff! Keep on the good work :)

Great staff, nice breakfast. No Internet in the rooms

A nice place near the Acropolis and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms I had were clean and comfortable.

Stayed in a private double with my girlfriend more than enough room for us both, a private balcony in the room, very approachable and helpful staff. Highly recommend this beautiful and centrally located hostel, inexpensive too!

Dioskouros is a great hostel for the location and the price. The facilities are great, fast internet, and a good breakfast in the morning, but what really made it better than any other place in Athens were Denitsa, Kevin, Martin, and MooMoo (the cat). We strongly recommend to anyone.

The Atmosphere was great. The staff were great, and I felt really welcome and at home there. It is also really close to town and the acropolis so easy to get around! Very happy with my stay there! Great value for money! And free egg bread for breakfast! YUM!

I was in January, and the air conditioner does not work.

Rooms were freezing. No toilet paper. Bathroom door didn't lock. Sheets weren't long enough. Kitchen was severely lacking. Nice lady working during the day. No wifi in rooms. Too many cats (I'm allergic). No soap. No maps. Dirty. Amazing location. Did get a good discount. But...mediocre place, Shower was not great either.

The location is perfect. It's close enough to the main tourist sites but still a little bit away from the main road, so the surrounding is rather quite. It's not the best hostel with the great facilities, but everything efficiently works and if you just plan to get some shelter to sleep this place is sufficient for that. The staffs are nice and eager to help if you ask. Wifi is only in the common room but that's fine for me, I could enjoy making tea and playing with the cute cat there anyway~

The best things about this hostel are the location, price, friendly staff, and the outside taverna. Other than that be prepared to not have hot water or heat in your room. There was also a big group when we were there, so the kitchen ran out of breakfast most mornings. However, for the short walk to the Parthenon, Ermou St, and the price, you can't beat this hostel.

It would be great if Wifi is provided in the rooms, not just in the common area. It is very inconvenient to sit outdoors in the winter, just to be able to use wifi.

Nice and cozy place in the middle of plaka area. The location was pretty hard to find at first because plaka is such a Maze, even our taxi driver got lost. Btw, taxi from bus station costs 8-9 euros. Major attractions are within a walking distance from hostel. In the first night of our stay we got really lousy room which flooded during the night because of heavy rain. Staff was really helpful and we got much bigger and better room for our next night. Overall pretty nice place.
