our stay was really nice. the owner went above and beyond the call of duty in a transportation matter--very much appreciated. there was a problem with our reservation but it got worked out. maybe some better communication between hostelworld.com and divanga would be good.

The atmosphere is wonderful and it's fantastic to escape the heat with a dip in the pool. The staff are super friendly and tried to help (even though a couple do not speak English very well). The food is delicious! Just be aware that the hostel is not near the main drag and late at night it can 'feel' (as I was never mugged) unsafe to walk back to the hostel... as street lighting is not very good. Also be aware that if electricity in town goes out, no electricity or water at hostel.

One of the best places I've stayed during my 7 week Colombia trip. Lucie is great and so is the pool and the breakfast! II liked the location, it's a couple of blocks from the beach and you pass the houses of the real Taganga inhabitants. Excellent value for money as well.

Absolutely loved Divanga B&B - the nicest place in Taganga. Fantastic, friendly, helpful staff (several of whom speak excellent english), very comfortable en-suite room, with a good bed, fan & cold water are sufficient given that it's warm but not stifling / humid. Lovely swimming pool, with hammocks all round, and a great little roof-top bar with views over the bay. It's a little bit of a walk up from the seafront, which felt a little dodgy at night. Other than that, Divanga was perfect!!

Even though the internet didn't work and we had periodical water shortages, we liked Divanga a lot for it's friendly atmosphere. The location isn't central, but Taganga is such a small village it doesn't really matter.
