Very charming hostel with super friendly owners, great location and beautiful interior. The only minus was too thin walls (We were quite disturbed in the morning by people running up and down the stairs. Earplugs are to recommend).

The airport shuttle bus has one stop in front of the Hostel. The breakfast is little bit late, from 8:30 to 10:30. But it is near the city center, river and bridge. Stay in Porto is wonderful.

Great location, easy to get to.Staff generally very helpful and friendly. We had private room with shared bathroom.Room was great (but no space to hang wet towels-maybe rack on the back of the door?),but girls bathroom had no proper wall,so you didn't really feel private, you could hear everyone from the staircase,so I guess they could hear you.Shower cubicles are so small that you can't even bend to get the toiletries (maybe a shower shelf woul be good addition?).Breakfast is very simple.

This is an amazing hostel. Incredibly clean, the breakfast is better than in many 4-star hotels I have been to, and the staff is super nice and friendly. Plus, it's quite close to the main areas of Porto, and they have free Walking Tours 11h everyday (don't miss out on them!).

This hostel is absolutely amazing. The showers are a bit small. But, that is the only minor gripe. Pedro, Joanna, Mafalda, and Adriano are awesome. Great tips and incredibly friendly. The next time I am back in Porto, this is the only place I will stay.

I can\'t say enough about this hostel. It was by far and away one of the nicest that I have stayed at. SO charming, cozy, and clean. Our whole group raved about it. Great location, as well, right in the center near the river. Nice breakfast in the morning, lots of activities, and very helpful staff. Just absolutely beautiful!!

I really enjoyed the Stay at Dixos `s. For small money you get a good bed to sleep, a clean bathroom and a tasty breakfast. The Staff is always friendly and helpful. In some minutes you arrive everything by foot. Next time again!

One of the nicest hostels I've ever been to! The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious (there's even a couch in them!), bathrooms are tidy, and the breakfast was really good. I recommend the walking tour offered daily - the guides are excellent :) My only complaint is that there is no age limit for travelers, as there was a very old man in my room who refused to shut the windows or stop snoring/talking to himself in his sleep...

I really enjoyed staying in Dixo's Oporto Hostel. I was there for 2 nights and then I moved to another hostel (Poets Hostel) and honestly if I need to recomend hostel in Porto it will be for sure Dixo's. The atmosphere, location and above all dining room and kitchen at the attic were just amazing! And those singing parrots - they gave an impression of being in some kind of park. I want to go back to Porto and for sure I'll choose Dixo's Hostel :)

A great place to stay - the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the building itself is very very nice on the inside. It is not really a party hostel, but I'm sure in the summer it is much busier :) Super clean, great beds and really good wifi!
