Do Step Inn is not the best Hostel in Vienna, but definitely the best value for money. It is perfect for a short stay in Vienna. It is located near the Westbahnhof, so it is very easy to reach. It is not an outstanding hostel but it is decent enough for a short stay.

Staff were very helpful and knowledgable! Location is pretty good about 10mins walk from the Westbahnhof ( not hauptbahnof-HBF but it's easy enough to get between the to with tram 18). it's easy to get into the old town from the train station or by walking (20mins) Clean rooms, large lockers ( could fit a 70L backpack)

It's quite good hostel that we stayed in double room. It is clean and cozy. Staff were trying to for everything except sugar ( I just requested a litte fork of sugar to put my tea). IT's also well located and Wifi works perfectly . I can recommend you to stay here.

No locker for two persons room but overall clean and big enough. The location is like 10mins from the central station. The staff was helpful.

It was a nice stay in Vienna, and I'm sure the hostel did help it.

I wish we would have had 1 extra towel in our room to put outside the shower for our wet feet. And with it being wintery/salty/wet, it would have been nice if there was a carpet/doormat to put shoes on. Or if the room floor was mopped during the day while we were gone. Also, it would be nice if the showerhead had a holder mounted to the wall so you didn't have to hold it. Makes it difficult to wash long hair (it takes two hands!). Otherwise everything was great!

The hostel was pretty good, I just didn't really like how impersonal the rooms were. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was clean enough, but when I went to shower, the water wasn't warm and since Viena was so cold, I'd expect that hot water wouldn't be an issue (and it was like 7pm). The hostel was pretty secure though and just a few minutes away from the subway station and supermarkets.

The hostel is not close to the Old Town but is near to the S-bahn station (Westbanhof). The room is very well maintained and it is very new. The breakfast is excellent and it is worthy.

Very nice and clean kitchen! cosy rooms and clean toilets. Perfect location. Laundry waaaay too expensive (12 €!!)

Ok place if it's a last option. No hot water unless you are the very first to shower, very weak (almost nonexistent Internet), very thin walls (bring earplugs!!). But staff is great, it's near train station, and you can leave your bags if you need to.

It is better have reception or staff in the another building

We had a long journey with some friends for these holidays, unfortunately this was the worst hostel we stayed by far... first of all, when we arrived they assigned us to another building outside the main area, was walkable distance, but it was no fun as it was cold and raining occasionally. But the worst: the heating DID NOT WORK. We had to call the staff about 4 times, and it was not repaired, we got a cold and our stay in Vienna was ruined because of this. Do not stay at this hostel...

Small and not really clean room. But really nice staffs. Have kitchen to cook.

The hostel does not have a great location, and its kind of uncomfortable having to do the check in at one building and going to sleep to other. Also we had a problem with noise because there was a couple fighting all night long and none of the staff did something to solve the problem.

There were no keys for lockers and no computer. Anyway I'm quite satisfied.

Very nice kitchen. Desk staff was hit and miss. Saw some unnecessary arguments over there. Breakfast was pricey.

Great place! A bit far from the city center but easily accessed by subway. Very clean, pleasant atmosphere, reasonable price.

The main downside to our particular room was there were only two power outlets right by the door where no one could access it easily. The beds were super comfy, the room was clean. It's a bit of a walk from the metro and tram, but only about 10 minutes. The only other issue was a man who thought it was OK to turn on the lights every time he came in around 1-3 in the morning...
