We stayed two nights at Do Step Inn and felt that the hostel was a bit of an afterthought to their hotel. Not much going on at the hostel, no bar, no activities and no staff. The lady at reception did not tell us that breakfast had to be booked the night before so keep that in mind if you want breakfast. Although the train station down the road had better food for your money. The room was clean and quiet and fairly easy to get around just not a great hostel atmosphere.

This hostel situated near rail way station Westbahnhof. Underground is clear to hostel too. Hostel has big kitchen, where you can kook all, what you want (a lot of facilities). Also you can live car near the hostel for a low fee.

Great little hostel, close to the train station but a bit of a walk from the old town. Very clean, great shared kitchen, bathrooms were clean & facilities were good. All in all, great value for money!

Good location, the hostel was very clean, the staff helpfull. I didn´t like that when we wanted to go to the kitchen or computer room, we had to go there through a yard - it was quite uncomfortable because it was cold outside. It was cold in our room because the heater was set to low. The atmosphere is not the best, we kinda felt separated. This hostel is very clean and near to Westbahnhof traing and metro station. It is worth the money.

We enjoyed our stay and overall thought the facilities we very nice. There was some mold growing in the corners of the window that needed to be taken care of.

Not easy to find. If your room is in the other building, you need to walk more and there is no staff in that building.

We had a privat room (3persons) which was clean and nice, but very loud. The rest of the Hostel looks clean but especially the kitchen and the shared bathroom where relatively dirty when we had a closer look. The showers were very dirty!!! You can't hang up the shower and there was one towel on the floor for all people. Disgusting I would not come back, but for a short stay (we were there for 2 nights) it's enought.

3 out of 6 lockers in my room did not have a holder for the lock - just a large hole in the metal door of the locker. The room was very smelly with windows that did not open, so ventilation was terrible. The lighting was also dark, as it was in the basement, so overall it was a pretty dismal space to spend any time in.

Overall the Hostel was very nice, clean and in a easily found location close to the subway. Even though it was close to the Westbahnhof it was also a reasonably quiet location. The staff was very helpful, but the reception was often crowded. The rooms were OK, but the beds were uncomfortable. Because of this it's not likely that I'm going to stay there again, even though overall the hostel is quite nice.
