STAY AWAY! Worst hostel I've been to in a last few years. Very cold at winter, you basically cannot take your jacket off because of the cold in your room. We've slept in our sweaters and trousers and it still wasn't comfortable. Toilet and showers are cold and not clean. Also we ordered an Ensuite room, but oddly enough we've got a usual room with nothing ensuite. I wasn't sure at the moment that I've booked an Ensuite in Riga, so we were tricked to have a worse room than we ordered :(.

In opposition to my previous review, this time I stayed in a private double room with a shared bathroom (the first time I had a private bathroom). All places were cleaned, but there were not enough hot water to have a shower contemporanely with any other neighbor. It was also impossible to cook something although they said, "there is a kitchen" but really only microwave oven and water boiler were there. Very close to the most interesting attraction.

Nice staff, comfortable room and bathroom. Located in the city center, very close to the most important attractions.

Lovely stay. Warm and clean room. View to the Doma square with the cozy Christmas market and whistle guy. Could have used a real coffee machine with real coffee. Staff was nice and polite. Cheap and good. Recommend!

A friend recommended this one - and turned out just as expected, right in the centre of the city, small and quiet. Enjoyed every minute of my stay

The hostel is good and the staff too were very nice people always ready to help. I think for my comment I will say that I really enjoy my stay which I will visit again in the same place.

great location&stuff, but bad smells into the room, co common area and thin walls so we've heard our neighbors all night.

Though staff didn't speak English very well, they were really helpful. Apart from this nothing special, extraordinary and nothing wrong.

we spent a night at dome pearl hostel in a 3 bed room. very silent and comfortable place ..right in the center .. recommended !!

enjoyed my stay no complaints. was somewaht hard to find the first day i arrived. sidewalk cafes set up outside. Room was small I had booked a single. Bathrooms clean. very good location in old town.

This hostel is simply great! Everything was perfect, it is difficult to find words to describe it. Location is unbelievable - right in the centre of everything, close to the principal monuments, bars, beautiful places. The staff is extremely friendly, they really do their best to make your stay unforgettable. The room I had was very clean and cosy, showers and toilets work great too. I would definitely stay here again and again and of course will recommend it to everyone!

Great place to stay at a reasonable price. Staff was very friendly and the location was exceptional. Next time I'm in Riga, I'll be staying there again.

A good and quite place to stay in the old city of Riga.

The ladies at the desk were very friendly and helpful, even if they didn't speak English very well, they tried their best to help you with whatever you needed. The location is SUPERB being smack dab in the middle of the old city in the Dome Square and there is a bar on the ground floor which you are able to go to if you don't feel like walking around to find a place for a pint. The rooms were average but for the price and location, just perfect considering we only used the room to sleep.

Under the new Bedlinen were hairs from other people. In the room were price labels from other peoples clothes. The manager told us that this is no problem becaus we wouldnt touch it with our skin.......crazy opinion.

Excellent hostel in a beautiful building right in the heart of old town. The building is on a public square that has open air cafes and live music, as well as many restaurants and pubs. The setting is extremely beautiful. Friendly staff and nice rooms overlooking the square.

Not a bad place at all, but overrated. Pros: Free wifi, free coffee/tea, excellent location in the middle of the city center and the clubs, but still quite to sleep. Cons: No kitchen, small chances to socialize, not the cleanest hostel ever seen, use of the luggage room not free.

Very good location and spacious room for 4. We were send to another hostel for our second stay which was a pity. The showers and toilets were clean.
