Everybody was super friendly and very nice. Good vibes all around.
We were totaly surprised by how bad we felt in the hostel. 1) Security. Theres an opened door at the back of the hostel that allows anyone to just come in. 2) Staff were the worst ever. They resisted to help us, telling us to google for stuff. They did not socialize with no one but themselves or girls (I wonder why). The cooker was the exception. Plus they tried to overcharge us when we were checking out. 4) Kitchen always full of dirty dishes. 5) We couldnt bring wine from outside.
Amazing breakfast, the bread is out of this world...

The staff were great when you were in the party spirit but did not jump at the chance of giving you any tourist advice. The hostel itself was clean but we found ourself in a small room of bunk beds when we paid up for a private room which was a bit disappointing, as was the very basic breakfast of powdered coffee and white rolls with jam. The best thing about it is the location right under San Cristobal hill. All in all, not value for money.

I only stayed for one night so difficult to fully comment but my observations are: dorm had a layout that gave privacy to most beds but mine was directly opposite the door. Despite the place being half empty, it was v noisy late at night- loud music from reception
Great location, nice staff and the best bed slept in so far (after 2 months in Argentina). They didn't buy regular beds but built it them selves. I slept in the 8 person doorm, and from my bed I couldn't any of the other persons in the doorm. Which gives you the feeling you have a lot of privacy.
Great location. Top bunks were ridiculously high and the rooms in general were a little cramped. Breakfast is bread and jams. Ok social vibe but good be better. Some staff had no idea how to do anything. Overall pretty good stay but there are better hostels in the area.
It has a lot of potential. Saturday night can be noisy due to loud music. The staff appeared to be quite new, they were helpful but inexperienced as it looked like they were dealing with problems for the first time (breakfast not available on time, not enough pillow slopes available, no tour upon arrival). The beds are not that good, especially getting into a top bunk bed can be difficult. The interior of the hostel is really nice, made of wood, toilets not always clean.
The bed was super comfy. But our room backed on to a very busy and noisy street, which woke us up a lot. Great location, so close to restaurants, bars, the park and markets. Which is lucky because the kitchen is not stocked well at all and half the stove top didn't work. Great place to meet others and have a chat thou. Internet works well
I really recommend this hostel! Very kind staff, reeeally nice room (a private double), the whole hostel is full of nice spaces to hang out, it has a great location (a little noisy maybe, close to a street with mnay bars). If you want to stay in a neighburhood full of bars and restaurants this is a really good place to choose. I would go back to Dominica Hostel if I go back to Santiago
Great hostel! Breakfast was really good. The staff were helpful and friendly. The beds were really comfortable with shelfs, lockers and lights on each bunk which was nice. Lots of places to hang out. Busy street nearby with lots of bars and restaurants
