Great location. Top bunks were ridiculously high and the rooms in general were a little cramped. Breakfast is bread and jams. Ok social vibe but good be better. Some staff had no idea how to do anything. Overall pretty good stay but there are better hostels in the area.

It has a lot of potential. Saturday night can be noisy due to loud music. The staff appeared to be quite new, they were helpful but inexperienced as it looked like they were dealing with problems for the first time (breakfast not available on time, not enough pillow slopes available, no tour upon arrival). The beds are not that good, especially getting into a top bunk bed can be difficult. The interior of the hostel is really nice, made of wood, toilets not always clean.

The bed was super comfy. But our room backed on to a very busy and noisy street, which woke us up a lot. Great location, so close to restaurants, bars, the park and markets. Which is lucky because the kitchen is not stocked well at all and half the stove top didn't work. Great place to meet others and have a chat thou. Internet works well

I really recommend this hostel! Very kind staff, reeeally nice room (a private double), the whole hostel is full of nice spaces to hang out, it has a great location (a little noisy maybe, close to a street with mnay bars). If you want to stay in a neighburhood full of bars and restaurants this is a really good place to choose. I would go back to Dominica Hostel if I go back to Santiago

Great hostel! Breakfast was really good. The staff were helpful and friendly. The beds were really comfortable with shelfs, lockers and lights on each bunk which was nice. Lots of places to hang out. Busy street nearby with lots of bars and restaurants

Excellent! I had a great time at Dominica Hostel! Staff: very friendly and helpful! facilities perfectly clean, comfortable beds, well equipped and spacious kitchen. Good vibes and great atmosphere! Really good price for what they offer: Breakfast included, Free WIFI, etc... The location is very good as well: You can walk to many interesting places like "La Chascona", "Cerro San Cristobal" and the Zoo within minutes! Whenever I come back to Santiago I will definitely check in again!

Different experiences dealing with the staff, from one nice friendly girl, to a gruff man who scared me after hearing him yelling at someone on the phone. You don't act like that in front of guests. The facility itself is fairly secure, but the neighboring streets are questionable at night, with the drunk rowdy crowds at the bars. East of Pio Nono has a safer feel. On the positive side, it's close to Patio Bellavista, and the Metro station (Baquedano). The house itself is nice.

Dissapointing stay. We were due to stay more night but left after 1. The guys running the hostel had a party outside the front of the hostel (for them and their friends) and ran an amplifier from our room at the front. You cannot sleep wth the window open as the sokers sit right outside and you spend the night passively smoking. The matresses are terrible and worn out, I was given a matress cover that was too small to fit, when I asked for a bigger one they said it fitted and walked off.

A nice hostel if you are up to partying, if not it can be very annoying. Don't expect a lot of sleep there! The hostel is situated in a very nice building, the facilities are good, but not as clean as they should be.

Had a good stay here and the staff were very nice. Location isn't bad if you are looking to go clubbing, etc. Could have been a bit more social, but they do a good job having a bar in house and a little cafe adjoining.
