Mrs. Flavia, the owner of the establishment simply left us two hours waiting for her on the street. We had marked the entrance to 7a.m, and she sent an employee to open the door at 9a.m. Absurd!

Dear Wellen, What you write is absolutely not fair toward me and how I managed your arrival. We exchanged many many emails, and I tried to help you in finding a room for your last night in Rome, as you were having troubles in finding one. I sent you a last email on March 26th, asking to reconfirm the room and your arrival time, but you never replied to me. If you had confirmed to me that you were arriving at 7.00 am I would have told you that our reception opens at 8.30am. You did mark 7 on your booking but I did not know if it was 7am or 7pm and you never reconfirmed. In any case I apologize for your wait, but I assure you that it was a total misunderstanding, as if I had known that you were arriving that early, I would have found a way to organize your arrival in a different way. I never have my guests waiting on the street and this time it happened only because of miscommunication.

Great location. Staff were very helpfull with guiding us with what to do in Rome for a short stay of just over 2 days and in finding places to eat with good relatively cheap food.

We spent a wonderful weekend here and have to say, Domus Victoria was perfectly located for exploring Rome. We walked pretty much everywhere, and in case of sore feet - the Metro is literally just a few seconds away. We also greatly appreciated the friendly welcome, enthusiasm and great tips from the staff (thanks go to Sandra, who also recommended a restaurant around the corner with delicious food!). We would definitely stay here again - and also recommend it to friends!

This place is ideal if you want to really explore the city. The staff is very helpful and friendly, with fluent English and ability to advise about the city. Domus Victoria's or proprietor Flavia was incredibly keen and kind and even made a surprise to my mom's Anniversary although I did not ask for that. Mom was impressed! Moreover Flavia explained in details how to reach their hotel and helped to find a car to get there. Concerning the room - we had everything we could need, the only thing I would add - t
