Suite at ground floor is really loud. A guest spent lot of time waiting some one to open the hostel door during evening.

A great little hostel, wish we could have stayed longer. Really friendly staff, nice social common area and excellent breakfast! Would definitely return to this hostel if we came back to Santiago.

The hostel was nice, but my first bed, the mattress was so thin in some places I could feel every slat underneath. I asked to be moved and was immediately which was fantastic. Also, with a full top floor (12-14 ppl) and only one toilet upstairs it was a challenge at times to get the bathroom.

Don Santiago was the perfect place to stay in Santiago: welcoming, clean, quiet, fun and filled with great people. We couldn't have asked for a better location, a few minutes walk from the airport bus, the Metro, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and many of the city's best attractions. Pato is a great host and took great care of all of us! Felt like family and we were only there a couple nights! WIthout a doubt, we'll be back next time in Santiago.

Excellent hostel. Good location, right in Barrio Brasil and close to the centre. Breakfast was better than any other hostel on my trip. Staff are really friendly and ready to help with any quiestions or just to share a beer with. Lovely atmposhere, really relaxed and friendly! Gracias Pato!!!

We spent a really nice stay there! The staf is really friendly, breakfast really good in the very original living room. The owner and his guitar are lovely and he's always here for any questions or anything. The patio is small but cute and cosy. The showers are ok. The neighborood is calm and safe, it's easy to get at the hostel by metro. We spent a good night with the staf and other travellers, drinking their specail drink!

A cozy hostel with its own characteristic. My first time to have fruit in breakfast, surprise! The hostel is small but equipped with all you needs, tiny kitchen, common area. Also it just couple block from the metro Republicana and within 10mins walk to CentroPuerto bus station near Los Huenos. Great hostel to stay!

I loved staying at this hostel. It is really cute inside, a lot of effort has been put into decorating. It is a nice size, there are plenty of great travellers around to meet, but it is small enough to get to know everyone. The beds were comfortable, showers were hot, and the breakfast is fantastic (eggs, fruit, bread, even vegemite!!!). The staff were really friendly and helpful and fun to hang out with. I would definitely recommend this hostel and will stay there when I return to Santiago

I was traveling alone to Santiago, stayed for 4 nights, and had a great time. The crew was extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone was very helpful in recommending activities, restaurants, bars, ect., and the breakfast was tasty. I would definitely recommend the hostel to anyone. Pato, Rachael, Charlotte, and Jorge, thanks a ton...stay awesome...and see you soon!

This was the first hostle I had ever stayed in and it was great, felt more like a home then a hostle. Eggs and fruit for breakfast was a nice treat. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Rachel and Pato! Very easy to meat other people and hang out in the cool living room or little court yard.

When I arrived in the hostel , a guy told me that there was a problem in my room and I can't stay there. I needed to move to the hotel in front.

House is full of character, and it isn't overcrowded because they don't have many rooms. It's a long walk to the city centre, but metro is easy to use, and the area is safe with a few resaturants not too far away. Friendly and helpful staff. Two computers rather than the usual one, which is a bonus. Lockers are not very big.
