Don santiago had a very homey feel, almost as though you were staying in someone's house rather than a hostel! The breakfast was really great and the staff were very friendly and always happy to help! Great value for money, would return again!

Very nice guys are running the hostel. Very Good Breakfast. Otherwise very cramped. Only one real shower availalble for all guest. Second one is a refurnished build-in cubbard... Second time I stayed in Hostel Happy House - much more space and good facilities, very good breakfast and nearer to bus station and center.

Great hostel - staff was really helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was awesome, fresh fruit and eggs! in a fun area of Santiago and quick walk to both the Museo de la Memoria and down town. Best hostel I've stayed at in Santiago!

The staff are very helpfull and polite, but the hostel is located in a very noise street. The building is an OLD house w/ bad conserved furniture, the sheets were clean but the bed awful, it gave me allergies. It only accept CASH, no credit or debit cards accepted. The place is very different from their hostel world pictures.

Hi, this is a youth hostel, cheap enough for young people. Old people is welcome, however I´d strongly advice you to book private rooms =) Have a nice trip! Pablo Torres Magr

I LOVED the place! I ended up staying every time I went to Santiago and really enjoyed it. Great breakfast and the atmosphere is just great! As it's a small hostel you get to meet loads of people, it was like a little family and the staff is just awesome! I had so much fun with Pablo and Rodrigo there! They organized a Xmas and New Years BBQ, we made terremotos...and also really helpful and good recommendations on turisty stuff! Thank you so much guys! I LOVED it and&recommend it to everybody ;)

One of the great hostels we stayed in our trip. The staff is not just like a "staff" they are like our friends instead :). Loved the place, loved the people.

Easy to reach with the Aeropuerto Bus, good location. Friendly staff and good breakfast. If Hostel is full, bathroom/shower situation is a bit annoying

We had leftover some avocado (palta) and turkey from our bus traveling, and it was a great addition to the breakfast! Maybe you could offer either one or the other with the breakfast, or have a small additional cost for each! It brought it all together!

My boyfriend and I spent Christmas and New Years at Don Santiago, and our experience went above and beyond what I expected from a hostel! Not only did Rodrigo and Pablo organize big potluck dinners for everyone, but they helped us create special memories by inviting their family to sing carols for us on Christmas Eve and taking us out to watch fireworks on New Years with Terremoto drinks! They would do anything for their guests and treat them as friends. Fair price for the accommodations, too.

Fantastic hostel. Eggs. DELICIOUS eggs! Every day! I spent Christmas there and we all cooked a big meal together, had carolers! Amazing! Really felt like a home away from home, lots of opportunities to meet people too. And they have an electric keyboard! Wow! Why are you still reading this?! BOOK!!&%!

Really nice hostel, comfy and friendly. We had a roadside room which was a little noisy. Really nice brekkie with fruit and eggs, much appreciated! Really near to the Metro station and walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. Showers were hot, bathrooms clean. No complaints, would recommend!

Good place with great people. The room on the ground floor is a bit noisy due to the kitchen and breakfast-room being next door... but that is ok. There could be a bit more light in the room...
