Donde German Hostel Reviews

The hostel was nice. When we arrived, however, the directions took us to the wrong hostel (there are two Donde German Hostels). At the first place we arrived, the lady was not very nice to us, and we had to move to the other hostel. Nevertheless, once we got to the other hostel we had a great stay and the facilities were very nice. Also, the woman in charge at the other place was much more accommodating.

Clean and cozy room with a great view of the Volcano. Nice and helpfull staffs. A little bit far from the main street. Facilities were poor.

German is fantastic. he was able to help us out with whatever we needed. the mom can seem kind of irritable if you ask her questions. the location is a little bit out of town but not too far. if you're walking down las rosas avenue/street and you start to walk on dirt, you have gone too far. there is no sign to indicate that there is a hostel, the only sign is on the hostel itself. the view and terrace are absolutely amazing with views of the volcano from our room. would highly recommend!

They have a ridiculous rule that you have to leave the hostel latest at 13:00 after the check-out, after 13:00 if you like to use the hostel facilities you have to pay. I havent faced such a hostel in my entire life who like to get rid of their guests immidiatly. "Donde German" is a precise name because finding German in the hostel is an issue. The previous comment about "the old lady" is true, many people complain about her. The rooms and the toilets are very clean.

The lady that runs the hostel seemed a bit irritated to answer my questions. I would recommend communicating with her son if he is available...

Very nice place, with a great view of the volcano. Nice garden with a BBQ and tables to chill out. There is too much light in the bedroom in the morning.

Lovely garden to sit in and relax. The bathrooms were always clean and in good condition. The bedroom were fine. All in all a very pleasant stay.

A beautiful, clean, friendly and warm place to stay. Lovely staff always willing to help. Perfect location in a walking distance from the town centre, with an amazing view of Villarrica volcano. Private rooms en suite are great value and a really confrotable and a good budget choice. Definitely a great place to stay and enjoy Pucon. Thanks all in Donde German! Tamara Oyarce, Sydney, Australia
