German and his family are fantastic!! They were incredibly hospitable and operate a beautiful hostel. They were very friendly to us, and made sure we were comfortable and knew our options for activities in Pucón. The hostel is very clean and conveniently located on a quiet street not too far from the main avenue. It is very near a grocery store and fruit stand. Donde German is great and we would recommend it to anyone seeking a cozy, friendly environment!

I stayed 6 nights and somehow my room was overbooked for the weekend. The owner cleaned up a room for me that's probably normally used for storage as you access it through the laundry room, and although small, it had a private bathroom and was very quiet. On the 4th night I moved into a private room with shared bath, which is what I had booked. It was larger and nicer, but noisier due to guests up late talking. At checkout, the owner reduced the cost by 1 night for the hassle.

We were able to check in early thanks to the lovely Cecilia. There are no permanent staff at this hostel and so you might have some problems. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are clean and spacious, the hot water is unreliable and are they have always run out of toilet roll. The kitchen is well equipped but has lots of rules. The owner German tried to charge more for the room when we wanted to extend our stay so we left,he was not welcoming at all. There are nicer places to stay in town.

15' walking from the center and buses in a quiet place with a marvelous view on the Villarica vulcano and a nice garden. Private rooms are new, very comfortable with a lovely decoration. You should believe you are in a 4* hotel. bad is no breakfast.
