The acustic isolation could be improved (when someone took a shower it felt like having them in the room). Also, we spent some cold days in Pucón and the temperature in the hostel was always comfortable. Overall, our stay was more than great and we can only recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Donde german hostel. We got the brand new room number 1 in the garden. The view is amazing, it was really quiet, very clean and perfectly located. Cheers german for letting us stay for four nights at your premises! All the best to you. Bye.

The hostel was ok. The location wasnt great, it is at the edge of town and there are many hostels with better location. No breakfast available. Staff nice and somewhat helpful.

There are 2 Donde German hostals, one is more central whereas the one we stayed in was just a short walk out of town with a beautiful volcano view. This website shows a pool at this hostal but there isn't. The owner was pleasant, minimal English but we got by with our limited Spanish. Overall a good stay and would recommend it.

Definitely one of the cleanest hostels we've stayed at, but it´s not a hostel. It´s more like a b&b without breakfast. We were the only guests in a big house. The owner is an overbearing older lady who does not understand hostelworld at all - first she didn't have our reservation, then she wanted the full price (ignoring the 10% deposit we'd paid). She only speaks Spanish - which is fine - but doesn't try to make herself understood if your Spanish isn't perfect. We didn´t feel comfortable there.

Amazing hostel and amazing view to vulcano!
