The hostel was really great and the garden is lovely. However, the owners made a mistake with our booking. They told us the room was not available anymore and we had to pay more because she only had a more expensive room left. Of course we didn't agree with that, but she didn't want to listen to us. In the end we agreed on a little discount, but still this was not enough.

This hostel has a beautiful view of the volcano Villarica from the garden. If you are using Google or Apple Maps to find this hostel, be careful! They may direct you to a place far outside of town, which is not the correct location. This hostel is in the town of Pucon.

Great place, on eastern edge of town but very close to Tur Bus station, a bit of a walk to town. Run by a very friendly family. Clean, spacious, very relaxed.

We stayed at Donde German for two nights and it was our best stay so far in Chile. The hostel is very cheap, but the rooms are incredibly nice and clean. We don't speak any Spanish, but the owner knows some English, so this wasn't an issue. It takes up to ten minutes to get to the main street, where all the restaurants and travel agencies are, but it's a nice walk with many fruit shops along the way. All in all, the hostel is really cosy and offers everything a backbacker needs.

For us this hostel was a home away from home. We extended our stay for a few days. Lovely, clean house and rooms and German was an excellent host helping with all our questions and more. The hostel is not directly in the centre, but that was no problem for us as Pucon is a small town anyway. Supermarket is a 2 min walk away. Only recommendations: Directions to hostel should be more clear and check-out policy could be better.
