DongDaeMun Hostel Reviews

I've stayed in many different places from dives to five star-but this one really takes the biscuit. Positives 1st, it's clean, excellent location (Airport bus 6001 drops you right outside) and relatively good value-but it is simply far too small. The description sounds great, ensuite etc but the room is a wardrobe. U cant stand &have ur bag on floor@same time.u never see the staff, I'd to buy own toiletries but also toilet-anytime I looked for staff, noone around.

On our arrival,The manager told us the hostel is full , even with my early booking of more than 1 month ahead. They move me to two different hostel, i have to re-pack my lugage every night & move with my wife & two kids. This is kind of cheating. THis is serious issue. Furthermore the two other hostel is not at equivalent quality

I was given a room with heater not working. That should be fix. However, staff managed to change to another room immediately for me. TV in the room was not working. Other than that, room is good and clean. Staff very friendly as well.

The time they privod the floor heat system is too short. We always felt very cold when we stayed in hostel. But staff there are very friendly.

Dongdaemun Hostel is a warm & tidy hostel which is definitely a good choice for backpacker and individual trip. The staff in Hostel are so helpful and nice. The location is very convenient to who need to go dongdaemun, as it is only 10-15 mins from hostel. And the airport bus and subway are next to dongdaemun hostel! And now the hostel is enlarged, double rooms are available for two persons travel or couple! In conclude: It is a really convenient and comfortable valued hostel.

It is a fantastic home-like hostel which I have been lived in Dongaemun. Advantages:1. Super convinient to Dongaemun market, which is only 10-15 mins from hostel. 2. Manager Jay and staff Emma are nice to everyone! They are willing to help and answer any questions! 3. If you are travel alone, it is a comfortable place for your short stay. It has individual toilet& shower. And they are expending their business next to entire hostel, which you can enjoy their double room service very soon! :)
