Extremely friendly workers in this hostel from the time we arrieved til the time we left. Hostel was clean and within walking distance of the pubs which we were going to for the festival. Would highly recommend and great value for money.

Owner was great, as well as the staff - very friendly, attentive and seemed genuine. Cafe was nice, comfortable, good food. Room was so-so, right on the road so noisy, the bathroom funky. The picture on their web site of the nice looking rooms looked nothing like ours. Three of us had been traveling for a week before we arrived. In each hostel we got a private en-suite and payed for three people, about 60euro/night. Doolin Hostel was the only place that charge for each bed, about 80euro/night.

I loved staying in this hostel. Wonderful location, very clean, great host, interesting people staying here. Came for three nights and stayed for six. Didn't want to leave but had to return rental car. Wonderful place to stay for solo travelers as well as families.

I found Doolin Hostel to be the best hostel I've stayed in while in Ireland. THE BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE and real showers! It's the closest hostel to the Aran Islands ferry pier. Also, there's a hiking trail right next door that leads to the Cliffs of Moher. It's owned by a husband and wife, so the overall feeling is good, almost like being at home. Anthony was a good man. Even with his arm in a sling he insisted on carrying my extremely heavy luggage to my room. I made great friends here! :)

Fantastic location, and lovely hostel. Couldn't have asked for better. Staff was very helpful, rooms were clean, and showers had hot water with good water pressure.

Doolin Hostel was absolutely fabulous!I highly recommend it.Everything was lovely. The atmosphere is class- with a caring, friendly, and very accommodating staff. If you have a question about anything, they are there to help.It was always clean and cheery;great lounge area with big windows, breakfast room, kitchen, laundry room, and the cafe was always nice to hang out in with high quality food, including home baked scones and breads!(best scones ever).Close to pubs and Cliffs. You won't regret it!

In the below pop up window "Are You" there is definitely missing the item "family". We came as family, couple 41+ and two children in the age of 6+7 years.

Breakfast was €5 extra if pre-booked or €6.50 if not. It consisted of cereal, fruit and breads, tea, coffee, juice. There was a free breakfast of cereal and milk only. The hostel was very clean and we got a change of towels on the second day. We were there for 3nights. Over-all. I would recommend it.

room was just the right size. Bathroom was excellent. Lounge room was comfortable and appealing. Kitchen was fun but old nothing a fresh coat of paint wouldn't fix, ceiling light fixture in disrepair.

My hubby and I loved our stay here! The couple running the hostel is so helpful, and their facility is very well kept. It's location is ideal, too. (In very busy months, bathroom-use could be challenging!! By our room of six, there were two single-use bathrooms. Both were great, but if we were all trying to get ready at the same time, and if others from down the hall were wanting to, as well, it could get busy!) Overall: fantastic hostel!
