My hubby and I loved our stay here! The couple running the hostel is so helpful, and their facility is very well kept. It's location is ideal, too. (In very busy months, bathroom-use could be challenging!! By our room of six, there were two single-use bathrooms. Both were great, but if we were all trying to get ready at the same time, and if others from down the hall were wanting to, as well, it could get busy!) Overall: fantastic hostel!

room was just the right size. Bathroom was excellent. Lounge room was comfortable and appealing. Kitchen was fun but old nothing a fresh coat of paint wouldn't fix, ceiling light fixture in disrepair.

Breakfast is not included but they do have an extensive breakfast option for 5 euro per day. The couple running it are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. One tip: if you are recommended a walk by the cemetery and then all along the shore back to the pier- ask more questions about the path and tide. We got caught by high tide and had to hoof it through cow fields for a while (likely trespassing). Also, it is hard walking on the burren.

Nice place, huge kitchen. THe rooms are comfortable but en-suite showers are terrible! (No shower tray or curtain, and push-button tap) The shared bathrooms looked better.

Stayed one night in a 7-bed room. We were the only occupants because it was the off-season. Has a nice common room area with a iron stove to warm the room. It was really nice to return to the hostel and sit by the stove after walking home from the local pub in the rain. Breakfast was good but an extra 5 euro. But was much better than your typical hostel breakfast.

Simply a great place to stay in Doolin. What Anthony is doing is not just a great advertisement for the hostel industry but also for the greater hospitality

the hostel was nice, clean and quiet, but it was quite cold in the rooms and in the kitchen. and there were too many instructions how to use the water or different things. it made us feel a little uncomfortable. but all in all, it's a nice place to stay and the view from the room was great.

Good value for money. Doolin is quite a small town, easiest to reach if you have your own rental car, but the hostel was easy to find. Really nice staff, gave advice on what to do and see in the area. Located really close to several traditional pubs with live music. Breakfast in the morning was good too, have to pay extra though. Nice play to stay, I'd recommend it!

Anthony, the manager/owner, was a very helpful energetic host. He is invested in his job and is very good at it. He gave good advice and interesting information about the area. He did his best to make us comfortable and succeeded. The only thing we would say was the showers were cool, push-button and wouldn't warm-up. Excellent value for money. Overall, terrific hostel!
