Good place to stay. There was a cat and really cute kittens roaming about. Breakfast was bread, cheese and eggs. The poor weather stopped us using the outside but it looked cool. Airport pickup was handy.

This hostel deserves only praises, it's undoubtedly among the top 5 I've been to. The staff is nice and helpful, the location is great (very close to the lively Piata Unirii but in a very quiet neighborhood full of trees and old houses) and the decoration and style of the hostel is very cool!! The hostel also has a great garden where to chill out. And the prices are very moderate!!

This was the best hostel I've ever stayed in because the staff and other guests make you feel at home. I've never felt so comfortable at any other hostel!

Honestly, Doors hostel is excellent,,,,staff are bloody marvelous,,,,,nice garden,good breakfast and very homely environment. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a relaxing environment.

Such a great hostel! Brilliant outdoor lounge area with cheap drinks, nice rooms, and free breakfast. Definitely recommend!

awesome hostel. great staff, great facilities/building, beds are comfortable and location is ideal... very central. My only whinge is that a dog next door barks 2-3 times per night and woke me up everytime...I don't blame this on the hostel obviously it's out of their control

Lovely hostel, fabulous interior and facilities. Added bonus of a friendly ginger cat! The only downside is that the location (2 minutes' walk from one of the largest squares and the airport bus) is down a few slightly confusing side streets. Hopefully the hostel will put a couple of signs up, but do print the directions and a very detailed map before you leave (particularly if travelling alone, or late at night)

Really liked this hostel - much better than others I have stayed at in Bucharest. The staff are great, friendly and funny, it's a really mellow place and the breakfast is good!

This is an excellent hostel, and I will definitely stay there again if I go back. I needed some help researching computer stores in Bucharest, and the staff was so helpful (Stanley in particular). He answered all of my questions and went out of his way to be helpful. Excellent stay...

I had an amazing time at Doors Hostel. Actually, I was sad when I had to leave. The personel are friendly, informative, and kind. I will stay here in the future and definetly recommend to friends. It is clean, interesting, warm and welcoming. Doors Hostel is a great accomodation when in Bucarest.

Getting there, especially in winter (snow, ice forcing you to walk in the street), can lead down some streets that appear a bit dicey and the stray dogs (all over the city, of course) have left their "calling cards" on the sidewalks. So, you may wonder if it's worth the journey. Be open, endure, and you'll be rewarded. A labor of love, the attitude of the staff sets the tone. Very clean, friendly, quiet, but not dull. All who stayed were clearly happy. Plenty of bathrooms, outlets, wi-fi.

The hostel is a little bit a ways from the city and attractions, but is a very nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a very charming place, I would definately recommend staying here.

Location is good, 5min walk from city center (piata unirii), where you have metro, shopping center, restaurants, bars/clubs, etc. From here you are in a walking distance for the main atractions in bucharesti. The staff was great and helped in everything (really everything)! Good atmosphere, always with some relaxing jazz music, and a tea house open for the general public at the hostel lounge. Very clean and secure, and in the summer you can enjoy the garden. Deff would stay here again!

Good hostel, awesome staff, clean, full kitchen. Only negative I can pick out was the directions to arrive there. It was quite difficult at first to find. Other than that I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the hostel vey nice and comfortable and the service very good :)
