Very cozy and chilled place! The girls are all super nice and helpful. Liked the atmosphere a lot, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. Center, including shops, restaurants and bars is just a 10 min walk away and getting to the train station is pretty easy as well. Definetly recommended!
The hostel is just next to the fortress and very centrally located. The team is very helpful and prices are great too! Would further recommend it. There are also quite a bunch of organized trips that you should not miss.
We stayed in the nice 4be It was a great stay at DoorsHostel. We loved the enchanted garden with tea and cats (very british ;-) ) and the blooming colorful flowers on the stairs (what do you do in winter time?). The staff is so pleasant! The hostel is very clean. The good beer is only 1EUR, tea is about 11 Lei. Water in the showers could be a bit more hot. Anyway, the best thing to keep images in mind is to come back. Isn't it? So, we have to come back soon!
very cool funky hotel. great stuff, nice courtyard where you can chill out...)

Pretty nice hostel in a fun neighborhood just south of Piata Unirii. The loft in the six- (turned seven-) bed room was cool, but the neighborhood cats had a tendency to curl up there during the day. Not enough shower availability, and the toilets were often dirty or out of paper. The tent belonging to the tea house outside adds lots of character, and the free concerts in the evenings were fun as well. A bit of a mixed bag - not the greatest place on earth, but it's a nice oasis for Bucharest.

A great place to stay, a lovely garden +bar, clean and good rooms, great kitchen for cooking..amazing staff!
good location good staff good place... well recommended
It took me a lot of time to decide what to write about this hostel, in the end i can only say that it is SO FREAKIN AWESOME that none of the usual little mistakes or small complaints matters at all. I truly hope to come back soon, never in my more than 6 years of travelling around the world have i stayed at such a wonderful place. Love everything about it from the sixties kinda feeling to the pillow bar area in the epic little garden.. Trust me you'll feel like staying forever!
This was my second time staying at the Doors Hostel as i loved it so much the first time i stayed there! It has such an amazing and calm atmosphere with a great outdoor area with many places to sit and relax and meet fellow travellers. The rooms are clean and very spacious and comfortable and the staff is beyond helpful and so friendly! When i needed my bus booked to go to Moldova one of the staff members went out of her way to help me and reserve my seat for me which i highly appreciated.
Great hostel ran by a warm/caring owner who also is a traveller so understands what is needed to make your stay pleasent and memorable. Perfect blend of a chilled and sociable vibe plus the massive lay down area in the garden is a brilliant touch.
Overall a really nice hostel, the best feature is definitely the beer garden which occasionally hosts live music. The two toilets are quite cramped and you can't flush tissue paper down them - but it's not a big deal, they're kept clean and everything else works well. Enjoyed my stay there and would go again - thank you Doors!
Short stay, but the staff was very nice and very helpful. Very well located, at the heart of Bucharest
super comfy beds but you had to make them yourself. fantastic garden. 10 min walk to old town
Friendly and helpful staff, amazing chill out area, quite close to the city center.
Is a nice Hostel ~20 min walk from the Old town. Has kind of a cool Hippy feel to it with a public Tea bar that is run by the Hostel staff. The price of beer at the bar, and other facilities seem quite expensive relative to other places in Bucharest. The staff are all quite nice, and the owner is great and quite knowledgable. Would suggest that maybe a cheat sheet for the staff with common "tourist related info" might help as some of the staff weren't quite as aware of the different options.
