two negative points: firstly there is NO kitchen actually while on the website the B&B claims they have it; secondly, the bus to and from Bari is really few on holidays and weekends, you have to wait for almost 2 hours if you miss one and the there is nothing to kill time in the small town when you are waiting for the bus. So we strongly suggest not to choose Bitritto for your stay during Italian holidays.
We chose this hotel because it had "free parking". That was a plain lie: they drove us to a parking lot 300 meters away and the next morning the charged us €5 for parking. When we asked, they said "free parking" was on the street. Also, this place is not in Bari but in a town called Bitritto 14 km away from Bari. You need a car. The breakfast was just coffee and a croissant in a nearby restaurant. Lastly, be aware that the staff doesn't speak English: only Italian and Portuguese.
This hostel is actually located in the small town of Bitritto, a 1 euro, 15-20 min. bus ride from Bari. Sometimes you have to wait a while for the bus, but it will come. It doesn't run very late though, so plan your day accordingly. Mimmo drove my friends and I from the airport and was very helpful. We speak Spanish, but he spoke Italian slowly so we could understand him. Unless you know Italian or a similar language, I would try to learn some key phrases as nobody really speaks English.
