The manager here was extremely rude. Did not help us with our three bags when he saw we were struggling. Even stopped to buy himself a snack on the street, did not offer it to us. Then when we asked him to help us with our bags he did but made us hold his food and everything else in his hands on return. Did not help us coordinate excursions and made up excuses for not being able to set up a Sahara experience. He did however wake up early to make us breakfast. No air con either

Mohammad was excellent! Such a great conversationalist and he did everything possible to make sure our stay was amazing.

We had an amazing time staying at Dourskoll. The rooms were nice, the roof top terrace was fantastic and our friend and the manager Mohamed is the best host you can ask for. He spend a lot of time telling about the city and pointing things out on a map besides just being awesome and chill. You felt really welcome in his company and we can only recommend this place!

Douarskoll Guesthouse offers pleasant, well-located, home-style accommodations. We stayed for four nights in May and had the whole place to ourselves, including the lovely roof deck. The host Mohamed is a friendly, cultured, multilingual man with a deep appreciation of classic American cinema; he also gave me some Moroccan literature recommendations. You must let him cook dinner for you -- it was the best meal we had in Marrakech.
