Hostel Owner, Michelle is warm and took personal interests in meeting our needs during our stay. Hostel Manager, Mohd is friendly and very helpful. There was even a Heater in our room while we did not find any in all the Hostels we stayed previously.

We fully enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse. Staying in a riad like this was a pleasure because everyone was so helpful and we it felt so comfortable. It felt like family. We definetely would recommend the guesthouse and if we would come back to Marrakech one day, we will def stay there again! Thank you =)

Very friendly housekeeper (Mohamed) who picked us up, brought us to the hostel and directly gave us a really good map of Marrakech. Breakfast was a tasty marrocean (standard). We got a better room because a better one was free, so the private bathroom was a plus we didn't have to pay for. Nice rooftop terasse and very close to the square. Mohamed didn't try to get any extra money in general and we payed a few hours before we left. His english iws very good.

Mohammed and the rest of the staff were amazing and some of the most hospitable and kind people I will ever meet. Mohammed was waiting at the door when we arrived and offered us some fresh Moroccan mint tea as we went through the check-in process. The following day we were served a delicious breakfast and were given numerous suggestions for what to do for the day. The room itself was very cute and quaint, with more than enough space for a group of 4. I would HIGHLY recommend Duarskoll Guesthouse

would recommend taking advantage of the airport transfer service. We didn't and gave up looking after an hour or so and found somewhere else.

our stay at douarskoll was amazing. it is the perfect location and mohammed and michele were great with helping us finding an excursion company and also learning about marrakech. We hab great conversation with mohammed who made our stay unforgettable. Michele let us leave our luggage at the hotel during a trip to essaouira and went out of her way to make sure we had breakfast even if we were leaving early. They offer airport pick up which is great. The rooms are spacious and everything is clean.

Douarskoll is a hidden gem. Amazing location in the medina and great views from the roof terrace. Mohammed is amazing! He really helped to settle us into the guesthouse and gave us valuable tips for Marrakech - such as where to buy alcohol, bus numbers, how much to pay taxis, where to buy the best spices and so on. He also cooked an amazing Moroccan meal for us and made us feel so at home. We left Marrakech to visit the desert and Essaouira and always returned to Douarskoll!

Breakfasts were simple but good. Coffee delicious. We had to leave extra early and Michelle got up and left fresh orange juice for us. Mohammed brought us special crosoints. He was very helpful and dear.No WiFi but he let us use computer for a time. I got to use kitchen on limited basis. Only one helpful suggestion: make sure when book that you don't get room changed mid stream. Very inconvenient. And make sure you don't get tiny room on second floor right.Oth er rooms were beautiful.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Really good value for money and a really good experience! Mohamed was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. We felt the location was also great, down the quiet alleys but still really close to the square, and after using the may Mohamed gave us the first couple of times we found it absolutely fine! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Really nice staff and great rooms!

It is impossible to find the place on your own (its location on the Hostelworld map is wrong), so ask someone from the guesthouse to come meet you. The guesthouse itself has great security, but to get there you need to walk down a lot of alleys, which might make some people uncomfortable. Contrary to what they have listed, there is no internet access. Breakfast is very basic - just bread, jam, and butter.

Have stayed herein another occasion so this is a re-post of previous comments: Great guesthouse, Mohammed the afternoon / evening guy is a great dude, full of enthusiasm and energy. Could not fault the facilities or staff, but the dinner (we came on a late evening train) was a bit steep relative to the price of food in Jamaal square for essentially a tagine and some salad

THE PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IN MARRAKECH. Very cozy. The staff are excellent and are so friendly and will help with anything. There is also a GORGEOUS roof-top terrace, which is where I spent most of my time. I stay here alone for 2 nights to unwind from the lack of privacy and excessive noise that comes along with hostels. In a good location right next to Jemaa el-Fnaa and the souks, but in a confusing maze in the Medina. Very hard to find, and I kept getting harassed by little boys.
