The staff was great, very helpful and kind. I was one of three guests and we were in the common romm playing boardgames and dinking beers! It's a little far from Innsbruck centre, but the way to the hostel is very nice, in the middle of the mountains. I'll always recommend this hostel.

Excellent place to stay. The ambiance is perfect. The only thing, though, is that I got a little worried about the location (since it is about half an hour away from downtown Innsbruck). The buses take us there easily, though. At last, I was upset I couldn't stay there longer.

Doug's Mountain Getaway is the coolest hostel that you can find. I could write a book on why you should stay there but it still won't do it justice. Definitely go there if you ever have the opportunity. Just a few of the facilities that he has there include a sauna, cinema, bar, ping pong table, exercise room, poker table and more. But that isn't the only reason why you should go...Doug will take care of you like you're family and is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Thanks again Doug!!

What a nice place to stay!

Did not know what to expect staying in Fulpmes but loved it, staff were extremely helpful and welcoming which was something which some hostels lack. \facilities here are amazing, kitchen, bathrooms, bars, sauna, hot tub and even a lift into Innsbruck available. \location is not in Innsbruck which was what I was looking for, surrounded by the Alps in a quiet village. Would recommend for all, thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to return when Doug has completed the retreat, cheers

This will be an awesome place when Doug finishes all the remodels. The chalet had a cozy environment that made you feel at home.

Dougs Mountain Getaway has been the highlight of our 5 months overseas! Such a warm and friendly place in a perfect location for anyone wanting to ski, party,town hop or just relax. We did a bit of all of those and wished we didn't have to leave. The night sledding in the nearby ski resort was a great experience worth trying! Will definitely be back again.
