The bathroom was flithy. There were hairballs on the floor a urine on the toilet seat. The sheets had stains on them and the place has an unusual odor. Breakfast was supposed to be included but it wasnt.

I stayed over the Robert Boyd bar as I wanted a private room..17€ with breakfast ...it is a hostel which also belongs to the down town hostel. It is in a beautiful square , plenty bars , restaurants every where in walking distance , cathedral , port ...bus stop around the corner ,which brings you to bus and train station. Staff in the robert Boyd bar are so friendly ,.. Raul , David etc...looking forward to returning there soon Michael...

No warm water, no heating (which is actually needed in winter), cooker and microwave were broken and quite dirty...I don´t recommend you to stay there.

Down Town Hotel was very comfortable and quiet. I slept well and was well received. Even got breakfast thrown in. Very friendly.

Not at all what we expected. We were lead to another building, away from where the receptionist and other rooms were into a building that was dark and not very clean. Didn´t seem very safe.

Overall a nice central located place to stay..maybe they could provide toiletries such as toilet paper and soap...

Lovely hostel and friendly staff. I especially like to roof terrace where you can have sun all day long and enjoy dinner or just relax.
