Excellent location! Friendly welcome! You can put icing on the cake by providing wood for the fireplace. It just burns better than coal. Nevertheless a gorgeous place to stay. Downhill Hostel was one the best places we stayed during our trip. It felt not so much like staying in a youth hostel as visiting friends in their big old house!
