We stayed in a twin bed private room (4)which was poor. We were badly bitten by bed bugs. Considering the room is the same price as many three star hotels in the city we were not happy. Upon check in there was no attempt to show us the main hostel and facilities as this was located seperately. The hostel was clean and nice, but our room smelled like sewage, probably a broken pipe or something. Should be fixed, because it is a very unpleasant smell! The rooms on the other building don\'t seem to be safe, only on the main building. The restaurant/bar is really good and cheap, but it is a shame that it closes at midnight.The hostel was clean and nice, but our room smelled like sewage, probably a broken pipe or something. Alright Hostel, easy to get to from train station, decent wee bar and friendly enough staff. Totally unsecure though, anyone could easily walk in off the street into your room and there were quite a few dodgy folk staying when I was there which could just have been unlucky!Alright Hostel, easy to get to from train station, decent wee bar and friendly enough staff. Good location - just a few minutes walk from the old town. The hostel building is very beautiful from the outside. Common room is very well designed. One of shower rooms has bad drainage. What we saw of the main building was cool, especially the bar and we were a bit sad to be in a different building. The room could do with at least one chair and a little table but the bed was comfy and the bathroom clean. The breakfast is a shame, there is very little food, little space and lots of really unfriendly people.
