About Downtown Backpackers
Without a doubt the most centrally located hostel in town. Downtown Backpackers is surrounded by everything Rockhampton has to offer while providing a relaxing safe haven for the weary traveler. If its sight seeing you are interested in we organize tours to local attractions such as Myella Farm stay, Tours by Capricorn Dave featuring 'the caves' and the Koorana Crocodile farm, Rodeo nights at the Great Western and Keppel Island packages. Rochampton Tourism center is also located less than 100m from our front door.
