The so-called "deluxe" double room was very basic, the bathroom was dirty and the price was high. The workers are business friendly. The environment is ok, the forest is nice but the all-night-long barking and wandering dogs make you think it is a place for homeless. I would definitely not go back there and would never recommend this place.

the most cosy hostel ever, nice people everywhere and very good location...

Extremely nice place, one of the best! It misses only a little touch of creativity in the rooms and toilets to be just awesome! And please shoot the neighbour's dog :@

Great location as you get to see Uzupis on the way to Old Town, lovely place with nice decor. This is where I'll definitely be staying next time in Vilnius.

Perhaps the best hostel I've ever stayed in.

The hostel it is great. Very beautifful and close to the city center. The rooms are very cosy and I had a great stay. But somethings must be improved. The kitchen in the basement does not look that it is at the same hostel. It is quite dark, cold and dirty, there a feel facilities and definelly it is not like the rest of the hostel. In the same time bathrooms and paper toilet bins must be clean more often.

Its quite far away from the bus and railway station. Kitchen is untidy and I dont want to cook here. Toilet is not clean enough. For those who love meeting people and having drinks in bar, it is a good option for them.

Really great hostel. I spent six weeks in hostels all over Europe and this one was by far the best value. The staff where very helpful and the beds where very comfortable. Its located a little ways from down town but definitely a walkable distance and cabs are pretty cheap. Overall a great place.

I stayed in the Downtown Forest Hostel for 4 nights, amazing staff, always very helpful and smiling, the showers and rooms are clean and there is sort of like a terrace in front where you can just sit down and enjoy. I would have liked to have a locker in the room, but it was good atmosphere and was pretty safe. I'd definitely go back!

Very nice hostel, newly furnished, comfortable beds and spacey rooms! It's surrounded by peaceful forest and is decorated in wooden style. Very good prices and friendly-helpful staff!

Nice hostel, but I was not that happy with the location. You need to walk a bit to reach the town centre. But nevertheless the hostel has a nice garden with tables and chairs and a nice common area. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms were clean.

Despites of the location, it`s a great hostel overall. The two ladies at reception were too kind and helpful with me and my mother. Vilnius is a nice city and, in case of returning there, I hope to stay at Paupio hostel again... Ačiū! ;-)

The hostel is nice, staffs were very friendly, overall everything is OK. Only it was very noisy until late night (until 2 am there were still people outside talking and laughing). There was once no hot water when we tried to shower at 6 am in the morning.

Spacious, atmospheric hostel in a very beautiful area of the city. Surrounded with trees that it seems it really stands in the forest, and you're a host of some cosy hunter house - it even has a fireplace with armchairs behind. Friendly creative staff with interesting ideas about how to make your staying a fun (like freshly baked croissants in the morning:) Only notice - it could be more wall outlets, in rooms especially (in twin privet we hadn't anyone) Reccomend for a long quiet stay;)

I stayed here one night with a friend. From the fresh croissants in the morning, to the cold Lithuanian beer in the fridge, to the friendly, helpful staff, to the beautiful and convenient location, this is one of the best hostel experiences I've had.

Good hostel. Staff could promote the excellent and very cheap local cycle hire scheme better.

(+) convinient location well equipped kitchen nice (not: helpful) staff 2/3 showers hot (-) terrible security [in the middle of the night (!) a strange man (!) came into my private room (!) who had the code (!), next day the lock broke and I was trapped inside the room] walls covered in mold extremely loud at all times of day and night very cold and poorly equipped rooms I would neither stay there again nor recommend the facility to a friend.
