Welcome to the Downtown Hostel in beautiful St.John's, Newfoundland. The hostel is located in the heart of downtown on a quiet street, within crawling distance of the famous George Street and its 82 bars.

Our hostel is the perfect place to meet other travelers from all over the world and a caplin swinging Newfoundlander while sharing a well-stocked kitchen and a cozy common room.

This small hostel is run by hostellers, for hostellers. It is within easy walking distance to all major tourist attractions including Signal Hill. Tours to Cape Spear and Newfoundland dinners can be organized.

St.John's location makes it ideal for whale, bird and Iceberg watching during the summer. We are experienced in organizing tours and our relationships with local companies mean we can often negotiate discounts for you.

If you come to St.John's for hiking we can supply you with comprehensive information for day hikes including maps for the famous East Coast Trail. Our backyard has plenty of space for bicycles and if you need a box for shipping we do our best to provide one.
