Hostel DownTown is first opened hostel in Novi Sad. Till now we had over 3000 satisfied guests. We are on the BEST location, only 10m from central city square and Cathedral, in Austro-Ungarn architectural pedestrian zone.

I won't recommend this hostel to anyone. It was dirty, mattress worn through to the springs and there was no "common room" (in spite of what the spiel says). The "manager" lives on the premises, drinks constantly and doesn't sleep. The kitchen area stinks of warm beer and cigarettes all the time. Guests come second to the managers good time. Beware if you are a female travelling alone, you won't be able to come and go freely, the manager will "be at your service" in a condescending way.
