Not the best hostal if what you want is to meet new people or start partying, but it is the perfect place if you're a couple or a small group (3 or 4). You can enjoy your trip the most with the people you are travelling, since it doesn't feel like a hostal, but like your own home. Very clean and nice rooms/common areas; with all facilities you may need; quiet building and street; and with a landlady that gives you total freedom but is willing to help with anything you need. 100% satisfied!!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely place in the middle of downtown Budapest. We had a BIG room with balcony and nice city views. The hostel was very clean and the staff welcoming and helpful. I loved the cozy and homely atmosphere. The location is fantastic, walking distance to most sights and a short stroll away from Kazincy Street with the coolest ruin pubs!! The Danube and the all pedestrian shopping streets are 5 minutes walk.

Nice clean place in downtown close to everything. We loved the personal feel and that we did not have to share with many people. The owner was very friendly and helped us a lot in planning our sightseeing (you can buy tickets for tours and museums in the hostel). There are also great recommendations about places to eat, drink or visit were very helpful. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!

This place is awesome! We were going to Budapest for a weekend trip and were so glad, we found the Downtown Oasis. It is located very central so that we could reach most of the sights by walking. The jewish quarter, where you can find the best pubs, is right across the street! This hostel is very clean and everything you could ever need is there! Judit was very friendly and always helpfull. She also recommended us a guarded parking lot very nearby. We highly recommend this Hostel!
