The room was very basic for the price. Everything else was ok and the girls at the reception were helpful and friendly.

Great hostel!! Great location, amazing staff (Cecilia was VERY helpful and very nice ^_^)...definitely great value for our money, quite frankly zero complaints, and we have stayed in MANY hostels. I would definitely recommend this hostel to other travelers.

Very nice staff. Didn't read anything about having to pay € 10,- deposit for each key of the room you booked. Staff very helpfull. You can get in and out 24/7, there's always someone at the counter who will open the door. Wifi signal was'nt strong enough so couldn't use internet at our own room. Very good location.

Really nice hostel, decorated with a lot of colors and with a joyful atmosphere. Location is perfect, at one street from La Rambla and there is a 24h permanence so you can arrive at any time. Rooms are clean and tidy, same goes for bathrooms, even the shared ones. Staff is definitely a strong point: very helpful, polite and smiling! Only two weak points: walls are really thin so if you want real intimacy and no noise, forget it. Second one: Wifi does not always work (but there is a public PC).

It would be more convenient to first timers if the hostel had a more visible sign. The current sign is quite small and easy to miss.

A very good hostel. The only thing that annoyed me was that the walls were too thin, we could sleep only when our neighrbours decided to. We were in a room next to the terrace, and despite it was not allowed to hang out there after 10pm, people did it anyway. But all in all it was a good experiencie, I recommend it unless you want a silent room.

This is an excellent hostel and the staff are so helpful and friendly, only one thing I can't stand is the noise. the rooms have a really bad sound-proofing........hard for people like me who can only sleep in quietness.

This hostel is in an excellent position, just few minutes from Las Ramblas, it's very clean and coloured, the staff is very helpful and gives you tips for visiting the city... I was with a friend but I could know and speak with some guys from Holland, Australia and Germany. It's not a hostel where you can have parties in the night because they respect people sleeping, but you can meet people there even if in the common rooms there aren't lot of people staying there...

This was the first time my friend and I stayed in a hostel and it left a great impression!! We loved that the building was safe and that we could lock our private room door, and also it was very clean. There were not many people staying there, so it wasn't noisy at all. It was just what we were looking for as a safe, clean hostel in a good location without too much noise or partying. The only downfall was the weak internet connection in our first room, but it was great in the lounge.

Downtown Paraiso is very close to the city center (La Rambla) and Liceu metro station, which is super convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean hostel. No problems.

We stayed in a double with window facing outside and near to the reception. Overall, it was good (although a bit noise at sometime but it was ok to us). The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. The location is great (close to La Rambla and Liceu metro station). Kitchen was good for us to prepare and enjoy our meals. Internet was good. Felt secure as well. Will stay here again if visit Barcelona again.

The staff was very friendly. The wall colors were great! It was a very peaceful and quite hostel. There was no party and late night noise. LOVE IT! You have to go through several security checks, so we felt extra safe. I was traveling with 3 girls, and never once did we feel un-safe in the area.
