Mattress was rough and not much space in the hostel.

Great spot, super friendly staff, great pub crawl, great atmosphere! Clean bathrooms, too!

I paid 32 euros for a Friday night. Absolutely robbed. The staff weren't helpful at all and on arrival, I did arrive at 10pm but the hostel was empty of check in and had to wait 15 minutes. Very unimpressed with the cost for the service you get.

The best hostel I have ever stayed at (and I've been to quite a few). Very clean, very central, excellent price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Awesome new hostel located within a 5 min walk to the Old town of San Seb. I have stayed in San Seb for a few summers and this place is the best hostel you will find anywhere in town. Clean, new and comfortable with a great backpacker/traveler vibe if you want to meet people. Ioanna and Gemma are excellent hosts and will help you with any info you need regarding things to do during the day or places to head out to for the night. Will be back again.

It is really nice hostel. Perfect location. We came by car and found place to park it really close. All facilities are just right there. Kitchen is always clean and ready to use. Stuff is super nice and helpful.

This is a good hostel contray to some reviews: its clean, very close to the train station, and the layout makes socalising easy. You could say its not close the the old town and expensive, but this is San Sebastian; its about a 5minute walk to the old town and everywhere will cost more than an equivalent hostel in Madrid or Barcalona. The only downsides are that it is right outside a busy road which can make a bit of noise in the rooms.

A nice, small hostel. I liked that each room opened out into the kitchen so it was easy to meet people. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was in a good location. The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner though and I hated the timed water in the showers! It would turn off before it even got a chance to heat up! I thought this place was a little overpriced for what it was, but I think that might be the case for most places in San Sebastian.

The hostel was lovely. Staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations for pintxos bars and other places around town. However the bed was worn and I was able to feel the inner springs. The bathroom facilities were always clean but the shower cubicles are in desperate need of some hooks to hang a towel on

The hostel was one of the best ones that I stayed in Spain. It is conveniently located, a 10-minute walk to the Old Town and a 5-minute walk to the beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the facilities were very clean and kitchen was fully fitted and as a solo traveller, I found it a good place to hang out and meet other fellow travellers. The pub crawl was also great and I hope to come back to the hostel next year!

Lovely hostel, I was only there for one night but it was a great location and lovely, helpful, friendly staff.

Great hostel, in a really good location close to both main beaches and to the old centre of the town, and the staff are very helpful and willing to tell you where everything is. Nice clean rooms and a well-equipped kitchen.

Terrible hostel. I stayed in a few in San Sebastian and this one was the worst. The location is a bit far from where you want to go (beaches and old town), the owners are no where to be found and leave the running of the hostels to 20 year olds who just want a few place to stay but care nothing about service. When they say in the advertisement that they thought of everything in seeing up a hostel, what they meant was every way to save money (charging for towel rental, showers that run for 15 sec

Just one of the best hostels I have stayed in recently. Brand new (opened just a little over a month ago). Very charming and helpfull staf. Spacious rooms with bed light and your own socket for electricity. Common room / kitchen where you can meet up with other tragvellers. A place where it´s easy to meet up with like_minded people. Relaxed and quiet in the early and late hours. Very near train station. In other reviews people mentioned see_through glass in the showers, but they´re not really

Had a great time here due to meeting some fantastic people in this hostel. The kitchens nice but bathrooms are only ok and they didn't have a working locker for me. Overall a decent hostel but not amazing and super noisy from the road at night. The Ozzie girl on reception (sorry I've forgotten your name) was lovely!

You won't be disappointed if you stay at Downtown River Hostel. It's close to what you want.

Nice place, good central location, lovely staff, very clean. Don't miss out on the One Life bar night.

Location - very close to train terminal, bus terminal and within close walking distance to the beach / old city. The hostel is located on a corner of a busy intersection so is very noisy both day and night. Highly recommend ear plugs. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great WIFI throughout.

The hostel is quite small, which makes It great for solo travelers wanting to meet some new people. Very clean facilities and friendly and helpful staff - would recommend!

The hostel is in a good location near the old town and beach, 10 mins walk from the bus station. Unfortunately it is also located on a busy road which makes it noisy throughout the night. They could do with having fans in the rooms as they become hot and sweaty. Great staff - very friendly and helpful.
