Location - very close to train terminal, bus terminal and within close walking distance to the beach / old city. The hostel is located on a corner of a busy intersection so is very noisy both day and night. Highly recommend ear plugs. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great WIFI throughout.

The hostel is quite small, which makes It great for solo travelers wanting to meet some new people. Very clean facilities and friendly and helpful staff - would recommend!

The hostel is in a good location near the old town and beach, 10 mins walk from the bus station. Unfortunately it is also located on a busy road which makes it noisy throughout the night. They could do with having fans in the rooms as they become hot and sweaty. Great staff - very friendly and helpful.

I absolutely loved the place, and the people working there! Very friendly and outgoing, always willing to help you with whatever they could. The place was also very clean. The atmosphere was a lot of fun as well, easy to meet people and everybody was open to hang out or have a nice chat.

We really enjoyed our time at this hostel! Conveniently located close to the train station, two beaches, shops and supermarket. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Good kitchen facilities. Will stay again!

Great staff. So cruisy and easy going. Pub crawls is a must with these guys. Clean facilities with open kitchen area. Felt very safe and security was awesome. I will return to this hostel for sure.

The hostel was still new so it was pretty clean. The shower rooms were see-through. It was only one private bathroom that you can shower without anybody see you are naked. And no woman or man bathroom. There were in the same area. It was weirded. BTW, I like the kitchen area.

This was an amazing hostel. The entirety of my group was not only satisfied but found this to be better than expected. It was clean, safe, the staff exceptionally nice, the setup was perfect. The location was great to see the town. The road could be load at night but if the windows were shut it was almost quiet. Would suggest this hostel to anyone traveling to this town. Overall a great experience!

Bu far the best hostel that I have been to. The only even semi problem was that it was a little further away from everything than most places. This however is not an issue as it was just a ten minute walk. The facilities are amazing and the rooms spacious. If every hostel had this type of facilities there would be no need for anyone to stay in a hotel. the staff are friendly and present 24 hours a day to help with whatever you need. An in hostel bar and club also make this a fun time.

Bright, clean, good location between the train station and the old town, a short walk from either. Brand spanking new, so all the fixtures are spotless. 24 hour access with personnel at the desk all day and night. The only odd thing is that the shower stalls are entirely glass. They look very nice but, while transluscent, leave your shower neighbor perhaps a bit more visible than you'd like. If it were a movie, it would be PG and I personally didn't mind.

Cold showers, no common room, very limited cooking fasilaties(2 portable camping burners), more than half the power outlets where faulty. Was forced to find alternate accommodation, and was still charged full rate.

This hostel has literally just opened so there were some teething problems but when it is up and running properly I think it will be fab. All staff were really helpful especially Paul and Mariano!! Only thing we would say is that there isn't really a chill out area to socialise appart from the kitchen with it's dining area...but I think they have plans to build one down stairs! Also the showers are unisex not separate for boys and girls...FYI Overall a nice small, modern and central hostel!

have stayed in quite a few hostels while backpacking in Europe and downtown river hostel is without a doubt my absolute favorite. If you want high pressure showers, spotless facilities, two minutes walk from the train station, comfortable beds, the friendliest and most helpful staff possible all in the best neighborhood in San Sebastian, the center, look no further. Great pub crawls every night with the other three hostels. I really miss it, and hope to be back soon!
