Note: we are one of a few hostels that refuse to pay tuk-tuk commissions and add them to room rates, so tuk-tuk drivers will almost certainly tell you we have burnt down, so that they can take you to a hostel which does add commissions to room rates. Best to tell them you have booked and paid, and will loose your money if they dont bring you.

Downtown Siem Reap Hotel is under new ownership since March 2011. British owned and managed, Downtown Siem Reap Hotel is ideally located, being the first hotel on the east side of the river, just a few minutes walk from the Old Market, Pub Street and main nightlife. In a quiet location, with little traffic, and in a still very Cambodian area, Downtown Siem Reap Hotel is ideal for singles, couples and mature travellers alike. We have 15 well prepared air-conditioned and fan rooms, all with private bathroom, hot water, cable TV and free WI-FI.

The owner has many years experience in the service industry, both from B&B, restaurants and bars- so you are guaranteed to be well taken care of, where a professional service, even at our budget hotel, is the main priority.

We are able to offer you a full breakfast menu, lunch and dinner- a public sports bar on the ground floor, free use of Internet, free WI-FI and free pick-up service.

We have an agreement with our neighbouring resort that our guests may use their two swimming pools free of charge.

Tours can also be arranged to the temples, other places of interest and surrounding area.
