I know it is cheap, but still, I think it is important to fulfill with a minimum level of cleanliness. It is really dirty, especially the bathrooms and showers. The smell of the kitchen spreads all around the rooms; I even found a cockroach in the sink and ants in the dusty microwave! Definitely it has so much room to improve!

Nice people, but definitely not a clean place.

The showers were very very dirty, there was no discernible way to flush the toilet, and the screws were loose on the bunk bed.

We were really surprised to see the difference the management is trying to make in the building. The rooms that we were alloted was clean. The guy at the front desk was really helpful. The location is simply fantastic because it is closer to all major enternaintment centres. We liked their pricing also. i guess lot of people read previous bad reveiws , but now things are changing, These people are really trying A good place at a good rate with friendly people. Love it. it smell very bad

Over the years i have stayed in several hostels in Toronto and this was the worst by a long way! Its absolutey filthy, decor is ageing and pityful the breakfast wasn't worth the effort! facilities were lacking and what facilities they had were very poor! Many guests were complaining of bedbugs! location isn't great! so many better options! The owners need to invest to bring this hostel up to an acceptable standard - don't know how they haven't been shut down by environment health!!!

you should tear the whole building down. bathroom full of mould. nothing really working. big holes behind the toilet bowl. mold soap on the towels which had stains on it. also stains on the duvet cover......never again.

I ended up asking for a refund. The things I didn't like were: - the room was disgusting (smell and just old) - no place to lock up your stuff - the hallways and common areas felt run down. I was dead tired when I arrived, and would have slept just about anywhere, but the smell was really horrible. After five minutes I went back to the lobby and got a refund.

i don't wanna recommand this guesthouse because bedroom smell bad and everything arediscusting only the place are correct.

One of the dirtiest places I've been to... And I've been in some serious bad hostels! The carpet in every rooms and corridors floor is filthy and smells really bad. The area is full of junkies, but that's actually a problem in some areas of Toronto... the toilet was kind of clean but was very old and rusty, looking disgusting.

The place was dirty, the room hasn't been dusted for ages! I will never go there again and will definitely disrecommend this place to anyone!
