I've been traveling all over east Asia and I consider dozy house to be the best guesthouse I've stayed. Jina (the owner) is fantastic and goes above+beyond for her guests. The rooms are super clean with plenty of space and thoughtful decor. Its within the old city and walking distance to Wats and the Sunday night market. its also near a main road where you can catch tuk tuks or taxis. Its home away from home. If you're looking for a place to stay in Chiang Mai, you've found it, thanks Jina!

Dozy House was by far my favorite hostel. The staff was especially helpful in booking activities, recommending activities, providing transportation when needed and making you feel at home. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Definitely would recommend this hostel to anyone.

Really clean and comfy. Not great service as I arrived after the manager left and go up before anyone helpful was around.

The hostel owner and her husband are wonderful, nice, and welcoming giving it a home stay feel, without overbearing. The wife speaks perfect English and is always around to help and give travel advice or book trips. Very day going hostel with a chill crowd in another a quiet street close to everything. I love that it has a kitchen and fride to store all of the food I can't eat at once. The general vibe at the hostel is like you are at home, even the neighbors are nice! Great stay!

One of the nicest places I've stayed at. The husband and wife team who run the Dozy House are lovely, and very helpful. I would stay there again if I ever go back to Chiang-Mai.

a great place to stay, it was two wonderful day, the staff is so great, the woman always propose service for us (take or bus ticket, pick up to a place ...)

Gina is a total sweetheart and will help you with anything you need, also offering rides to various places depending on what other people have going on. A bit expensive for a dorm room but it may have been more expensive because of songgkran. Very clean with a big locker for each person.

Gina (maybe owner of hostel) is very friendly. I saw her talking to other people and she is always smiling and helping people. Rooms are very clean with a nice private bathroom. Location is okay. You can rent a bicycle for only 80 baht / day and you can travel on it instead of walking. Security is good. If you come back late in night, you need a key to unlock the door. I would recommend this hostel !

Gina was terrific, very honest and caring. Hostel was clean quiet.

Gina is lovely, and so is her baby son. (You become almost a family member here.) Free breakfast, bread, coffee and cocoa all day. Quiet location. Secure, large lockers. I stayed in the dorm and it was fine. Somehow this hostel attracts a really fine clientele, quieter perhaps than most, but very interesting.

Great place, no complaints. Clean, strong AC, good location and security, and really friendly / helpful staff.

Gina is so great. Always smiling and doing her max to help you having the best stay in Chiang Mai. The dorms and bathrooms are clean. I totally recommend this hostel.

Absolutely wonderful nothing to complain about

The staffs are very friendly and helpful and it is a very quite place. The location is good but a little bit far away from the main gate. Feel safe and also have my private here.

We had a wonderful stay - in fact it was so good that we return to Dozy after our 2 Day Trip to the Thai Elephant Home (must do for a real experience with elephants). The place is in great shape, the rooms are spacious and well kept and decorated with great care. We had a wonderful time. Once again thank you very much for your hospitallity.

the room and floor is very clean. the staff is very friendly!! and they 've got a lovely cat Pizza!! we enjoyed our stay there!! definitely will recommend this place to friends!!

everything was great. the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable. it's not the closest to places but it didn't take too long to walk where i wanted to go. i would definitely stay here again!
