I wouldn't recommend staying here if you are a female travelling alone. Dragan is harmless, but has the ability to make some girls feel quite uncomfortable.... If you make it clear straight away that you are not interested it will be fine! He did upgrade us for free to a private room from the dorm which was nice. The dorm or 'dungeon' is very crowded and doesn't have a proper window... Private rooms are lovely, and all facilities excellent. A fair walk into town but we didn't mind!

20 beds crammed down in the basement, which is unpleasant. about 20 mins walking to the old town.

Dragen (sorry if i've spelt that wrong) is nice enough, humble and laid back. its you're bog standard place to sleep with kitchens, common room and pool. not too far (about 10 minute walk) to the old city. you get what you pay for and why do you need anything else on your travels?

We definitely had an interesting stay at dragans den. Dragan, while a man of strange music taste, is certainly very friendly. He took us to the bar and organises regular trips such as cliff jumping. His hostel has amazing common room areas and is laid back. It feels more like a friends house than a hostel. The location is not very good but they picked us up from the ferry port and dragan is willing to drive you around so no complaints :)

24 French students staying and they were housed in every conceivable part of the hostel and hadn't yet learned how to clean up after themselves. Nobody seemed to be bothered about this, except for some of the other guests. I do not think that the bathroom we shared .(had to fight for!) with them was cleaned while we were there.Owner was very good with lifts to beach, cliffs, port - made life easier, thank you. Decent facilities if there were less people. Dragan is a pushy but harmless flirt!
