The staff are really nice and they can speak English. The location is 1 stop away from the Lama temple and 2 stops away from the Temple of Heaven. The staff were also helpful when we asked for the "must-see" spots. The internet was slow but acceptable. You have to go to the common rooms though, because it isn't available at the rooms. Oh, there was no free beer (upon check-in) and I don't recall having a Friday dumpling party as advertised in the Property information.

This hostel is awesome because of the great staff they have. Rooms are nice although small. Has a nice bar but the front lounge is a little lacking in comfort. WiFi worked well almost everywhere.

The staff is excellent. Friendly, helpful and speak very good English. The beds are very clean but a little on the hard side. I still slept well. Second floor very quiet. Location is great, down a narrow street and only a half block to the metro stop on the 5 line. I'd stay there again.

It was a fantastic stay at the Dragon King hotel. It is very close to a metro station.

Excellent hostel. Staff is great. They memorized my name even though I was just there 3 days. They even remembered which tours I booked and made sure I was on time. Tour of Mutianyu Great Wall was great, highly recommended. The dorms have curtains for all the beds, which gave some privacy. Met great people in the bar. Beer is pricey there, but worth it in my opinion.

Location is in the hutong which is excellent to explore the real old Beijing life. Has a lamp and plug on each bed which is good for labtop using. Price is fair. If there is coffee or kitchen facility it would be excellent.

Great hostel with very friendly and help staff. They wrote down addresses and gave me directions/instructions when needed. I also saw them helping folks book train and plane tickets which was very kind of them. The tours offered at this hostel are joint tours with other hostels making it very easy to meet other travelers. They also have a small bar that you can relax and chat with others in. Overall I'd say it was a great place to stay.

Our 1st room was a two person twin (room 115). This was directly next to the restaurant/bar area and due to this staying open until 2am it was really noisy for one of the nights. Our 2nd room was room 217(5?) and this was a nice 4 person room upstairs. A special mention in relation to Ruby and Candice from reception who remembered everyone's name - fantastic service provided by both! Note the Mutianyu Great wall tour only has the cable car option and not the toboggan option. Would recommend it.

Staff was helpful and a friendly when I arrived. But when I got to my room, the bed was made but their were little spots of freshly spilled blood over the sheets.

The hostel offers great value for money. There's no breakfast included nor are the bathrooms ensuite spotlessly clean, however, the location is very good and you feel safe there. It's like a peaceful harbour after whole day of wandering around in the hustle and bustle of Beijing.
