Found good, friendly service and reasonably priced Western food at the cafe/bar. Isn't the most centrally located, but is very close to a metro station. Would definitely stay again.

Great place with helpful staff, a decent bar (good for socialising) and good location (1 min to metro and close to sights)

Its really easy to find and close to the subway (line 5). It's not in the heart of the tourist areas, not a bad thing. It's an average hostel but that's what to expect in china. The beds are really hard too but again, it's what to expect. The water in the shower is hot which was awesome. The bathroom was an ensuite but was more like a wet room with the shower, toilet and basin all together with no curtains/doors. Very wet! And no real common room, only couches near reception but tiny and loud

Stayed here for a week from 10th Feb having been here before. Super location. If you like beer Slow Boat taproom is just around the corner, there is a great little bar called Beer House 50 yards along the street, Panda Brew is a 10 minute walk and it is a longer walk/short metro ride to Great Leap, NBeer, Stufff'd and the other good places. I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm. Decent locker with key provided, clean bedding and a towel. The bar is good and reasonably priced.

great place to stay! package tour to great wall was worth.

Staff is very helpful in planning trips for the day. Acrobatic show is not worth the cost. Great location to get to different places, but a little dark at night. Attend their dumpling parties if you can!

Really the only downside for me was the lack of (reasonably priced) laundry facilities. Otherwise my stay was fantastic. The staff here are wonderful.

I stayed in a private single room for 3 nights at this hostel. The room was awesome for what you pay and staff amazing. The atmosphere was also conducive to meeting other people. It is located close to the subway and is in a good area safety wise. I also did their gerat wall tour which was good. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending to anyone- great bang for your buck.

I had a great stay at Dragon King and found the staff to be extremely helpful. The facilities were very nice (I especially liked the privacy curtains which were useful when wanting to sleep in) and the location is excellent. For those needing visit places in the East city (Dongcheng or Chaoyang specifically), it's a fantastic location and the Zhongzizhang Lu (line 5) station is a quick 5 minute walk away.

Great Hostel, good location (very close to a subway station), nice staff, great hostel bar/café, lots of information. I booked a dorm room but got put in a nice 4-bed-room. I'd definitely stay there again.

The staff was absolutely GREAT! Very helpful and always with a smile on their face!

An excellent place to stay in for the nights especially if you are going to spend your time all day outside wandering the city. Although the room (single private) was not as fancy as hotel rooms, it was still comfortable. Personnel on duty were extremely helpful and with good conversational english to boot! Has its own bar/cafe too! Excellent location! It was easy to find them! Close to the subways making it easy to travel around even late at nights or early mornings! Highly recommended! :D

Extremely happy and helpful staff. Great Location.

Staff both in the bar and behind reception were brilliant, the bar is lovely with great food and drinks. The great wall tour we did was a good day out.

I had a good stay in this hostel. Location is good, not far to Forbidden City, Tian'anmen square etc. Rooms are nice and clean, only that the shower is directly next to the toilet and there is no curtain is not so good. After showering the whole floor of the bathroom, including toilet is wet. I did the wall tour of the hostel, which worked out pretty good. Only breakfast was unfortunatelly cold. But got it on another day where it warm. Sometimes you have to remind staff that you ordered a drink

Lounge area is the bar cafe. Not much wifi. Rooms have wifi and spacious. Staff members are very helpful. Shower facilities were horrible. They need to upgrade.

Great place. Bar area is lively even on a cold and bleak Beijing day - and a nice selection of beer to boot. Staff is kind, helpful, and easy to talk to. This kind of place is the reason I stay in hostels instead of normal hotels.

Great hostel, staff are so helpful and speak good English, amazing location right on the subway, the beds are comfy and showers are hot! I did one of the Great Wall tours through them and it was great, no scams or gimmicks.. Definately recommend!

stayed there 2 nights - everything was perfect. Staff was super friendly. They have a really nice bar at the first floor!

The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location is amazing; right near a subway station and a 25 minute walk to great areas of Beijing.
