The building and the area are absolutely nice (traditional Chinese style, many shops, cafes, bars and clubs). Small luggages lockers in dormitories, very practical. TV, tables and chairs around a pond. Propose a lot of activities in Chengdu and in other places. Nevertheless there is no lounge for eating and drinking, no , game room also. Therefore, it is very difficult to meet new people and there is absolutely no atmosphere at all.

Very nice hostel in good location, quite touristy. Easy to walk to many places. Staff were generally very helpful, but some were quite rude.

The first time we stayed there was for 5 nights. In that time our room was never cleaned. We had to ask for clean towels. The staff were helpful and friendly, but - in general- spoke poor English. Only Tina's English was good. This led to serious mistakes in booking trips. Furthermore, we had breakfast at the hostel a couple of times and it took the person (young teenager) HOURS to prepare it. By the time it was given to us, it was cold. Other people also complained about this.

This hostel is located in a charming little alleyway which is rich in historical buildings and character. I admit it was a little difficult to find and our taxis driver from the airport was not too much help. In saying that my partner and I have loved the charm of this little place so much we stationed ourselves here for a week and joining different tours they offer. The people are lovely and their English langauge skills were higher than other places we have stayed this far.

overall atmosphere was very comfortable and clean with good character, the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, and the location was great as well. They are well organize in spite of the amount of people hosted in the place. 100% recomended

Dragon Town is located along a nice pedestrian boulevard in Chengdu. Taxi drivers might not be fully aware of the place, seeing as it's pedestrianised, but maybe wait for a second or third taxi driver and he'll know where it is. Apart from that the staff speak great English are great problem solvers and willing to provide fresh towels toilet roll etc. with no extra charge. Would recommend anybody staying here as the street DragonTown is located off is full of character and pretty hip.

very nice hostel with a nice yard directly on a tourist street. the restaurants/bars around are quite expensiv, but its only a short walk to find something more reasonable. the price of a dorm is very good, but what I don't like: there is no 20-min-free-international call, there is no free dumpling party every week and there is no free bbq-party every week. at least an update of the information given on hostelworld would be nice. anyhow, a good place to stay.

The coffee tasted bitter, but everything else was perfect!

The single room with ensuite was great space-wise and with air conditioning it was comfortable. My only concern was the window that could not be shut or locked, so despite locking the door, the room did not feel secure and I left my valuables in a friend's room. Water after a shower did not drain very well either, leaving the entire bathroom wet for most of the day.
