We only stayed one night so we didn't get to take full advantage of the facilities. We had arranged for a taxi to pick us up from our flight arriving at 9PM but they never showed up. Upon arriving at the hostel we were informed the person who did the booing didn't work there any more. We luckily found a very informative taxi driver at the airport who gave us the low down on Lima on the ride to the hostel but he was double the price expected.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Dear , Thank you for your comment. We are really sorry for this inconvenience. We talk with our staff and this type of error can not happen again. we assure all transfers from airport, even we check if they are delayed so drivers know exactly when you are arriving. We had a miscommunication with your reservation and even if one of our staff doesn't work anymore here, there is no reason we do not assure the service. Sorry again and we will make sure it doesn't happen again.

Helpful and friendly staff. Able to organise taxi to and from the airport. Good location in Miraflores.

Good hostel in good location in Miraflores. Kitchen facilities and breakfast could be improved. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice chill out area on balcony. Decent showers. Overall enjoyable stay.

I stayed in the 4 bed ensuite female dorm. Every time anyone used the shower, when the bathroom door was opened afterwards water went all over the bedroom floor. The door has a ledge on it near the bottom which gathers water. A totally flat door would stop this from happening. Also, there is nowhere to hang a towel in the bathroom & no shelf to put toiletries on. These additions would improve the bathroom.

Well located hostel. Staff was ok. The terrasse is nice but bathrooms are a bit small. Watch out for the tours or bus tickets sold by the agency in the hostel the prices are higher than what they should be.

This is a great hostel, very clean and well organised but the best part is the staff they totally make the plac,e so friendly and can't do enough for you. Would definitely stay again!

Enjoyed the rooftop space and hot showers with great water pressure. Staff was nice and accomodating. Breakfast could be improved by including fruit in addition to the roll with butter/jam and juice.

I think the staff are friendly and it is in a good location.

'Twas okay

Perfectly friendly, with a lovely bar on the roof to chill. Only let down by the city it is in - we spent 3 days in Lima, which was 3 days too many! Good hostel to crash in though if you're passing through.

Good hostel as always, bu not really warm showers and overpriced drinks!

Great hostel in a fantastic location with helpful, English speaking staff. Be prepared to face the cold if you're on the roof and need to go to the bathroom.

Good hostel with boutique beers as a bonus brewed by the owner. Rooftop and some of the very helpful staff were a plus. Not so helpful night staff and intermittent hot water a minus. Absolutely great location, close to avenue Jose Larco. The main shopping area and casinos, the esplanade walk is also close, which was fantastic, good bakery/restobar underneath and mini marts are close. Could not have asked for better. One suggestion, tell first timers that they need to ring buzzer inside the gate

The stuff is really helpful. Nice place to stay short time.

We only stayed from 11pm-7am dues to flights & bus tour booked so the hostel was good for the night. It had a really good vibe and very social atmosphere which we were sad we couldn't stay and experience. The fella on the night shift checked us in, showed us around and made sure we had coffee before we left in the morning. Clean bathrooms but the girls shower hot water timed in and out and the boys shower was all cold water which wasn't very pleasant but that's the only complaint.

Had an okay stay at Dragonfly. The WiFi connection is really good, services just lose out as there was no hot water in three days. There are quite a lot of people and very little common space - you will be lucky to find a charging point or a seat in the kitchen! the rooftop deck is cool and all the staff do make an effort. I also appreciate they have a separate rubbish bin for recyclables - I bet this seems like a funny thing to mention but so many hostels justthrow everything in the trash!

Dragon fly is a cute little hostel located in downtown Miraflores minutes from Kennedy Park, great restaurants, and about 15 minutes from the beach. The breakfast is average at best, but pretty typical carbs on carbs as per usual in South America. The terrace is really nice and offers deals on drinks most nights of the week. Overall, I would definitely suggest it and would stay again! Clean, clean, clean which I know is so vital to me when traveling!

The hostel was what we were expecting. Met a few new people while there, and the roof terrace was a nice spot to hang out. A bathroom in the hall was clogged for a whole day, and the place is noisy all the time, like music playing throughout the main floor at 6:30 am on a Sunday kind of loud. Also, when a woman was yelling on her cell phone at 3 am in front of the staff member, who did nothing, and friend left the place with bites on her stomach.

Comfortable beds, good location in Miraflores and really friendly staff. Oh and awsome good pressure, hot water showers! The breakfast is basic with bread and cereals. If they would change the cereals into gluten free cereals then the breakfast would have been suitable for gluten free people as well. A small change that would make many people happy. :)

Very nice place to stay with helpful staff, good breakfast and hot showers. Can be a bit noisy at night.
