Very friendly Staff, Clean Rooms Shower and Kitchen, relaxed Atmosphere perfekt place to stay without the typical Hostel Feeling

Best hostel I've stayed at during my 7 months in australia. Awesome staff but a small minus for charging for aircon.

Such a great hostel! Feels like a home from home with super comfy rooms, laid back atmosphere, great areas to chill out and great music in the courtyard. The dorm room I was in with en-suite bathroom was spotlessly clean and tidy. The staff were all so helpful and friendly and Erin on reception was really knowledgable and helpful with booking my trip to the barrier reef, car hire and other ideas for things to do and what was going on in Cairns. Best Hostel I've stayed at in Australia!

The rooms near the kitchen are in the morning and in the evening loud if people start cooking.

Nice place. Staff members were nice and very helpful, the swimming pool is small but perfect to get refreshed after a day of travel, and the patio is peaceful. The room was clean, that was a good find! :)

Wonderful place to stay. Bright coloured and cheerful rooms, a nice change from the usual grey and white hostel rooms. We stayed in the 6 bed dorm and were lucky enough to score the 2 single beds in the adjoining room, so we had some more space than the others. Couldn't get the aircon to work but the fans did a good job. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great internet facilities and all free. Very quiet at night so you could easily get some sleep.

I stayed there for one night only, so I can't say much about it. The staff was helpful, but didn't mention, that the reception would be closed for lunchtime. I got kind of stressed, as I had left my luggage with them before flying further on. Luckily there were some people at the office, who could help me. Biiiig minus: you have to pay for aircon!

Great independent hospital with everything you need whether that be peace and quiet or friends for a night out. Staff bend over backwards to help you, rooms were comfortable and everything was clean.

Very friendly and relaxed place to stay. BBQ and other hostel-run weekly nights for great, cheap food and entertainment! Really enjoyable stay :)

Great place, very easy to meet people despite not being a party oriented hostel. Easy to sleep if you are just looking for something quiet. Only thing I didn't like is that they charge for aircon, it is not too expensive but still a bit annoying.

This hostel has a lovely chilled out atmosphere. Plenty of communal space, hammocks, benches, swimming pool, pool table. The rooms were a great size, clean and ours even had a good sized fridge in it which helped. The rooms offer air on for 3 hours at the price of 1 dollar which was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostel is just on the cusp of the town, so only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Really enjoyed our stay and would come here again happily.

HOSTEL SEARCHER LOOK NO FURTHER! Having stayed at a few of the best rated places in cairns I can say this is hands down the best around. Great staff, that help you get to know other backpackers and lovely rooms which help you feel much more at home than other bland rooms. Great evening events with BBQ nights, fire shows and of course pizza night. Some great offers for long stayers which you have to ask about. I can't thank the team enough for everything. A real credit to the hostel industry!
