Nice little double room with aircon and even fridge. The hostel is very quiet and well located right in front of the main mall of Cairns and just 5 minutes away from the city center. I recommand this place.

I have stayed here before and love the feel of the place. Its a great location and close to the city. Location is ideal because you are away from the louisy young folk but still apart of the atmosphere. Staff are nice and friendly.

Favourite hostel in Australia!!! Loads of character but still felt cozy, as if you were kicking back at home. Beds were comfy. Only negative was the room was exceptionally hot and the air con didn't seem to help much. Got on with it fine though. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Also, there is an amazing Mexican restaurant up the road with super cheap food and drinks. The train station/mall are also across the street - convenient! :) thanks for making our stay in cairns a good one!!

Dreamtime is awesome! I'm always staying there when I'm in Cairns. By now that's 4-5 visits over the last six months with the longest being for about two months. The staff are super friendly and always helpful. The hostel has a lot of character, a relaxed atmosphere and is nice and tidy. And the fire show after the barbeque on Wednesdays is a must! Definitely worth a visit!!

Dreamtime has real character and is one of the best hostels I have stayed at in Australia!! Highly recommendable for those who wish to spend some relaxed time in Cairns and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere!! The rooms and the staff are great!!

Great hostel with clean rooms, clean bathrooms/showers, extremely helpful staff. Located across a shopping mall where you can purchase groceries and anything else you need and is a 15-20 min walk from waterfront/nightlife.

Real chill enviroment, awesome staff, laid back, the type of folks who stay there, are just as chill. Real good atmosphere, I can't say enough good things. Only down side is you have to walk through the mall to get to the "city center" but thats not a big deal overall : )

Great Hostel! I would like to stay longer, all Stuff very nice, also the theme night was great! Direct behind a shopping mall, the only thing thats not that great - no free internet, but you can get it for a few dollar (cheaper then normal global internet)! Go there - really great!

Staff was super helpful. Felt very safe. Had an amazing time at the BBQ on wednesday night! Would stay here again!!!

very good place if you want a more quit stay. go out at the party hostels and sleep in the spacious and clean room. i liked the place!!

The staff were wonderful - thanks guys! Whenever we had a problem they fixed it - whether it stemmed from their mistake, ours, or something completely outside of everyone's control. We went back 3 times during our holiday and would gladly do so again.

Very nice hostel with a holiday flair. Unfortunately pretty far away from the esplanade and only certain front desk hours.

Great hostel. They can help you organize tours or anything you want to do. Every night the hostel hosts some kind of event - pizza, movie, wine & cheese, etc. Great atmosphere for meeting people and making friends. Only downside is the location - to get to the town center you have to go through or around a mall and a couple blocks.

An absolutely fantastic hostel with a cracking atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

Great place to stay in cairns, 10 min walk to city but just across from huge shopping centre with supermarket. Nice areas to chill out, staff friendly, plenty going on but still laid back. Kitchen a little small but wasn't too much of a problem for us. Would def recommend.
