Excellent hostel with great atmosphere, strong cocktails, plenty of space to chill out and helpful staff. Thanks Valeria!
Just about lived in the TV room, always people chilling watching something, always people in the bar, and always people sitting around the pool. Only bad thing was one of our self-cooked meals was eaten by the dog when we left the dining room for two seconds to grab something from the kitchen. Be careful
Bathrooms were disgusting in the dorm rooms but the provision of personal fans a great idea. We were actually there during a quiet period so didn't experience the 'party' vibe. Dorms are weirdly connected, so you have to go through one to get to the other and a 6 bed dorm actually turns into a 14 bed dorm. Food pretty good. Lockers could be improved. Good overall for the price, but you get what you pay for.
Horrible staff. Loud and privacy is non existent. Bring earplugs and lowered expectations

Solid hostel with a fun atmosphere. A bit dirty but nothing too bad. Free at storage which is a must for Santa Marta. Would go back.
Great hostel. Great staff. The bathrooms are under construction, and that was a slight inconvenience but it shows that management is trying to improve the facility. The only thing I would say is that the cookware could be improved for a very low cost. The warped frying pans were a bit of a pain in the ass. Small invesent in some decent pans would make a world of difference, but other than that the place is sweeeeet!
Loved this hostel! The whole setup of the place is great for chilling, meeting new people, and exploring the area. I would stay here again. It is more of a party hostel, so be aware of that when making a booking.
The staff was very friendly. The location was far out of the center. I was staying in a private room, the bathroom was very dirty. No aircon. The wifi was not working. I didn't like the atmosphere in the hostal. No value for money.
Great hostel, a nice bar and pool. The bathrooms need updating but other than that it has a great atmosphere, and can recommend it for a few days of relaxing and enjoying the nice weather and vibe of Santa Marta.
Absolutely perfect. No more, no less.

Pretty awesome hostel, has everything you need, big netfilx room, plenty of chill out places, pool, kitchen, restaurant etc. It is in a suburban area not near downtown, but this was fine as downtown was nothing special. It is close to a supermarket and bus to Taganga. Staff were great but at the time in late Nov the volunteer girls were pretty off.
Good hostel, plenty of space in the rooms, big lockers. Bathroom not the best but fine. Kitchen is good plenty of space and fridges, and restaurant is excellent, good value meals. Nice bar playing games most nights. Swimming pool is awesome plus lots of hammocks everywhere. Not sure about location, we didn't really leave! Wifi is good. Would recommend.
good place to chill out nice swimmingpool a place you feel like home
Awesome staff, really helpful and friendly. All the facilities you could need, you actually don't need to leave as everything offered from the hostel. Lots of different spaces available to be either social or just chill out. The pool is brilliant with the sticky heat it's a must have! I used it as a base to travel around and checked in and out as I pleased staff were really great in organizing everything for me and super friendly
We stayed here one night after being in Taganga for a week and Minca for several days. After staying at Drop Bear, we wished we would have been able to stay longer, but it was simply a stop before flying to the Amazon. Super friendly staff. This is what you want in a backpacker Hostal. Great bar, cool pool area and huge game area. Recommended!

Great chilled hostel in really nice, safe location. Dorm rooms are huge with large lockers to safely put away any belongings. The hostel itself is again really big with loads of chill out areas, Netflix movie room, great pool & bar with really good happy hour. Would definitely recommend to anyone especially as a base for Tayrona.
Such an amazing place here, good vibe , great chill out spot with a great pool and also a great party scene at night. The reception and staff here are great people who are always willing to help out and also like to have a good time. I recommend to anyone staying in Santa Marta to stay at this hostel.
Great spot to chill out by the pool for a few days. The pool area is a large sun trap. We loved our air conditioned large spacious dorm. The netflix room is a super idea but sometimes its too hot to sit in. Happy Hour is great value for money. We ordered pizza one night but it wasnt cooked properly. We used the communal kitchen to cook our own food. Equipment defo needs upgrading. Pots had no handles. We struggled lifting them off the ring and draining water into the sink!
Positives: - great big rooms and plenty of bathrooms in this ex cartel house - pool and bar is bueno! - big kitchen as well as cooks and normal menu - TV room with Netflix and it is huge! - loads of hammocks, staff are legends and helpful for your next destination - free bag storage if you go to minca or somewhere No negatives- stay here
