very nice, decided to stay 3 more days-good value for money, nice staff

It's about a 20min walk from Southern Cross Station, 30mins from the beach, and surrounded by restaurants and shops. There's a pub under the hostel which is great for socializing. It's not very modern, but it's clean. It's full of long-termers, but they were very friendly and welcoming. If you like peace and quiet, this place isn't for you, but if you like a loud, fun atmosphere with plenty of beer, it's great.

Not the best hostel I stayed in but okay for the price and free wifi worked good. My keycard for the doors didn't work which was really annoying and is obviously a common problem in the hostel. But staff were good.

Had a great time! This hostel is almost too good. Will play Abba - Waterloo on request (other hostels won't provide this service). Lots of live music so if you like Stand By Me & Brown Eyed Girl you will love it! Fun nights in the bar - free pool tournament (may discover hidden talents but don't drink too much or you lose your talent), joker poker, very friendly staff and free food shelf is decent. Would highly recommend!

Good hostel and great people. You can even use an Imac and the printer.

If you want to get to sleep on Friday and Saturday nights, DONT stay at this hostel. On the other hand if sleepless Friday and Saturday nights are your thing, then this is the perfect place for you.

there was to much noise at night, because the bar that was in down level. Even when the bar was calm, there were people making a lot of noise (some of them were staff), and was not possible being in the living room quietly. The kitchen was dirty. I have been 3 days there, and all days I saw the same dead cockroach in the same place. It's could be a nice place because has a lot of potential. Good things were the rooms, and the bathrooms were remodeled.
