Great place to stay if you are just looking for a bed to sleep in and somewhere fairly safe to park your car during your stay. Although you have the use of a kitchen there are no plates, mugs, pots pans etc. Would of been nice to alteast had tea and coffee making facilities

Good place to sleep but it was far away from the city and not easily accessible through public transportation. There was a huge teenage kids camp there during my stay and they pretty much took over the place. Overall ok stay.

Great place to stay.

DCU was okay for what I wanted. However I felt the lighting to the Apartment I was going to could have been better. A big dark courtyard. At least some lighting to Apt. 1,2,3 etc could have suffice. Maybe as well some signage to the Student Accommodation Centre would help since I arrive on foot and Apparently took the main entrance in and there was no one around to ask a question to. My arrival was approximately 10:45 or later not before midnight however

typical student apartments. basic but absolutely sufficient. receptionist didnt find our reservation in their system but they managed the situation and booked us into another house on the campus (make sure to bring booking confirmation!). the university grounds are very calm and green, so it's nice to get out of dublin's city center hustle and bustle and talk some little walks. if you like that and don't mind to take the bus into town, it's a good place to stay.

Good place to stay for students. Facilities are simple, but adequate. Only the kitchen could've been better equipped. Friendly stuff and nice campus atmosphere. Clean rooms.

My room was great. I had an ensuite and was the only one in House 12. Only disappointment was a stove and microwave but only mugs, bread and butter plates and teaspoons. No cooking equipment. Seemed a shame. Wifi is only available in reception area, not the bedrooms. Overall I would...and am going to....stay there again. A Uni students hostel....have to say students are spoilt these days! Staff were fantastic.

It is very nice for those who are on a budget. tea and coffee makeing facilties would be handy though. it was out of the city centre so it was quiet. bit noisy at around 10pm on the thursday night. but all in all not a bad place to stay if you are on a budget and cant afford to stay in hotels.

Although initially finding the accommodation office in the uni was a bit tricky, once we did that it was a good place to stay. Not ideal for meeting other travellers, but convenient for a stay in Dublin if you need car parking. A short bus ride into town, the uni provides you with a sheet that shows the routes. But super weird that they don't provide any crockery in the kitchen, not even to make a cup of tea. It was really close to drive to Dublin Ferry Port.

Great place to stay, very affordable rate for your own room with bathroom en-suite, desk, closet. Very clean. Only downside is not a very good location if you are planning on doing things at the city center.

Nice big room, good bedsand lovely shower. We chose this hosel because it was close to the airport verry convenient.

It's a pity that one no-service-minded receptionist in the accomodation office ruined my entire Irish experience, I understand uneasiness of her pregnancy though. Don't get into a showerbooth until you are 100% sure about control manual. Unless, you will burn yourself easily. If you are going to stay for a long term, avoid the room C in the ground floor, where you might have to be woken up by door-bangings at night. Apart from these, it is an ideal place to stay for conference attendants.

This was a dorm-style accommodation, but no social life. I had a shared kitchen with 4 other rooms, but no roommates. So this had some advantages, but was a bit lonely. 15 min by bus from downtown, but buses came every 5 min.

A bit far from the city centre but well-linked by more than one bus..rooms are essential but clean and comfortable!if you are very tall consider that the bed is not very long or large..like an half more than a single bed!good breakfast and very kind staff!thank you all!!

Very nice and clean hostel, although the entrance in Ballymun Road is very difficult to find. Moreover, there aren't any plates or cutlery in the kitchen, so bring them yourselves!

Good place to stay for visiting Dublin.

i am 61 and it suited me as very quiet and could catch up on jetlagged sleep, good vakue and very good food, staff wonderful, even carriedn y bag for me

We were given a handicap room, for no apparent reason (it was not requested) and the shower flooded the entire bathroom each time we tried to take a shower. All of the water left the floor in the bathroom as well as the carpet in the room around the bathroom extremely wet.
