One does at least expect a bit of service. We booked a double room which was expensive for what we got. We didn't bring towels so we tried to rent some. Problem was, nobody was availabe the whole time we stayed there. We stayed for 3 nights, we could neither check in nor check out because nobody was available and we couldn't rent towels. We didn't know where the kitchen was and we couldn't ask anyone if we needed something. No service at all!!!!

Warm welcome from the Hostel-Crew; very helpfull tipps; you felt like home. But room was very small and a bit "moisty".

The landlords were hard to find, many times they were out! I had to hunt them to get a receipt, because the payment is cash only. This becomes very annoying because you have to have a large quantity of euros available. Also, they're not a B&B, but a hostel, so they should advertise themselves that way. On the good part, the zone where they are located is pretty safe and major bus routes are near--and a supermarket, so that's really convenient.

It was the best hostel we've ever stayed!! The owner is very friendly and always willing to give any directions on Dublin sightseeing!! Our room was very comfortable and well decorated. It was absolutely clean (cleaner than a 4star hotel!!!).

Roy looked after my girls so well, he even rang to check that they were okay when they were late arriving at the hostel. Very impressed and grateful for the kindness shown to my girls.

We came to the hostel and were surprised to find that there was some technical problem with the room and that we cannot get it. At that time there was a game in dublin, it was weekend and it was a big problem to find a room with such a short notice. But Roy, the owner found the best way to solve the problem. He booked us a room in Regency hotel, and paid us the difference. we found it very generous and kind...

really small and cute hostel, the owners were really nice and gave us a lot of information about the city and maps. Kitchen is nice and everything necessary is there. It is not the Hilton, of course, . We walked always into the city centre, it is not too far. and the beds were really comfortable! I would definitely recommend it!
