The only thing we didn't like was the bathrooms/showers, they are by no means horrible but definitely not like the ones in a hotel. Bring flip flops! Otherwise, great location, customer service and atmosphere. The breakfast was also pretty decent. This was my second time staying in a hostel and I slept comfortably and had a great time in Dublin.

The hostel was quite nice. I got into Dublin after dark but the hostel was very easy to find and they provided good directions. The place was clean and the showers were hot, they also provided a basic breakfast of toast, cereal, and tea it was not much but if you are on a budget it saves you from buying breakfast. I also felt very safe in the area. The only thing is that they provided lockers in the room (10 person female dorm) but some of the lockers didn't seem to lock properly.

Nothing really blew me away about this hostel, but it was still a good place to come home to and I did feel safe. The church restaurant was very beautiful though! But the wifi didn't work and there was only one outlet in a room for 8 girls! Overall, I would say the stay was good, but not excellent.

perfect place to stay in dublin, very close to the city center (o'connel street about 5 min walking), clean bathrooms and rooms, hot water in the shower and big radiator in every room.. staff very friendly and helpful, you can also leave your luggage for the day you're leaving for about 1.20 euros.. breakfast is lovely and the place is very cheap. I'll surely stay there again!!

This hostel was really dirty and most of the staff wasn't very friendly either. All together very lousy place, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Dublin is full of better hostels than this. Person at the reception was very welcoming when we arrived, but that's the only good thing to say.

Staff at front desk were friendly and helpful, however cleaning staff were rowdy & obnoxious at breakfast time (behaved like petulant children on school camp!). Free breakfast worth it. 10 bed f. dorm plenty warm. Lockers didn't work with small locks (large locks avail. to rent 3 Euro each). 1 powerpoint in dorm room for 10! Showers: had to press button to keep the flow of water! Annoying. But water was hot. Excellent for 10 Euro per dorm bed, but not luxurious by any means. Overall, happy!

Pleasant stay in a hostel I keep returning to on a regular basis. With YHA you know you're getting bang for your buck and their Dublin branch certainly doesn't disappoint. Comes highly recommended.

Upon the arrival, a pleasant receptionist welcomed us to the hostel. Once we entered the room, we realised that we had 4 beds in our room instead of 2 as booked initially. At the reception desk, we were informed that there are no more twin private rooms available and we will have to stay in a 4-bed room. The cleanliness of the room was average and the cleanliness of common bathroom was much worse (there was much hair on the floor).

Nice hostel, not the best for meeting other travelers. Clean, but showers were cold unfortunately. Pool table is a nice touch, breakfast isn't worth getting up for, only cereal or toast with orange juice or (bad) coffee. Stayed one night and then moved, because while the rooms are nice and the beds comfortable, the bad shower and breakfast made it a bad experiance for for me.
