Great low-cost hostel where you can meet lots of new people, with huge continental breakfast and shared bathroom(for shared dorms), very clean, calm neighborhood, excellent location less then 10 min from the Spire. Also you got kitchen where you can cook your favourite meal ;) Staff is very kind and friendly. Only bad thing is a lack of lockers in the dorms that you can lock up(you need buy a padlock at the reception). But all in all considered great value for the money. I recommend this hostel!

Guys, I loved my stay. Beds are comfy, breakfast is nice and staff really helpful and friendly. I would just point out to the showers on the top floor. Needs some maintenance to make the water last longer before pressing it and the temperature of the water was quite coldish for a beginning of winter in europe. Overall I would really recommend the hostel.

Already stayed in this hostel 6 months ago and had again the same issue : card does not open the room. Rooms are ok, but a member of the staff entered the room for the cleaning AT 8AM while all of us were sleeping. When you got to bed at 4, it is very annoying - and checkout time is 10. I've stayed in many hostels throughout Ireland and it's the first time ever I experience that. I was very upset all day long.

The room was great but very hot. The radiator was on full and it was sweltering. Atmosphere was fabulous with amazingly helpful staff. A hint of fruit at breakfast would have worked well. Canteen staff were lovely. Amazing dining room space.

Excellent use of old building but the just about everything about the hostel was uneven. Weak staff didn't seem to know or care. Wifi down for hours both days and staff didn"t have a clue besides both stating wifi was always problematic. Staff catered to groups, overlooking solo travellers. Could have been a great stay with motivated and energized staff. as it was, just average!

Great people at the hostel. Very friendly crew, very knowledgeable and willing to enter into conversation about the city or just whatever's on your mind. Awesome suggestions for a fun Dublin experience. Lockers could use a slightly larger hole, though, as my lock was actually too big to fit through the hole.

The hostel is in a fairly good location in Dublin as it is only a 8-10 mins walk to city centre (however the surroundings are not the most cleanest, streets were rubbishy, I didn't feel ultimately safe walking up there). Hostel staff was friendly and customer focused. Room was a bit 'unexpected' with bunk beds and a very simple layout (it was not possible to change to another room as hostel was fully booked). Breakfast is very basic.I would recommend Dublin International Hostel for young people.

taps are not practical at all matresses are not really good no sockets in dormitories but Friendly staff, good location (as long as you know where it is on a map :)) and very good value for money. I've been there twice already and I'll probably come back next time I go to Dublin.

Thank you for your comment, We are glad to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay here with us. Yes, we do need more plugs in the bedrooms, however as you are sharing a room with strangers at times it is not the most secure option. We offer all guests a safer option, by charging items in the reception or by borrowing power banks from the reception. Should you make a return trip to Dublin we would be more than happy to welcome you to the hostel again. Best regards, Dublin International

Kitchen ALWAYS filthy, sinks full of dirt and unwashed dishes from about 6pm onwards. There are a lot of 'permanent' residents hanging out in the kitchen/dining area playing their music at thumping volume oblivious to any other Guests, foul language and expletives abound so not a Hostel to take young families/children. As a result there is a very uncomfortable atmosphere particularly for young Females ( I will say no more!). Compared to other Hostels I have stayed in this one does not rate

Thank you for taking the time to comment, We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay here with us. As we are very busy at the moment and many guests are using the self-catering kitchen it occurs on rare occasions that it gets dirty quickly. Should you return to Dublin we would be happy to look after you again to try and make your next stay a more enjoyable one. Best regards, Dublin International Hostel

Other than the terrifyingly dirty once red hallway carpet, I found the facilities to be very clean and well maintained. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice size locker. The dining hall was excellent with great kitchen operations. A filling cereal, toast, tea, coffee, juice was offered. Helpful friendly staff.

What you imagine as staying in a hostel - is what this hostel is. Pros: free breakfast was great, staff was helpful, they offer many excursions/activities. Cons: the walls are very thin. There was only one plug in a room for 8 people. Wifi doesn't work in the rooms. Showers are cold/warm and you have to hold a button for the water to come down (so you can only shower with one hand). There's also a breeze in the shower room. It was ok but I wouldn't stay here again.

My friends and I spent 3 nights in a private bedroom and we enjoyed a lot to stay in this hostel. Bedroom was big enough and clean, staff was really helpfull. Facilities were all right, there was enought facilities for everybody. Location was close to city center by walking (10/15min) or by bus. The only thing was the WIFI, it was not strong enough to get WIFI in the bedroom.

The staff is very helpful and the value for money is excellent, especially if you just look for a place to overnight. The breakfast is a bit spartan but good. As for the downsides, the common areas´ cleanliness could be somewhat improved. I would recommend placing an earplug dispenser at each floor as the probability of having at least one loud roommate is rather high given the size of the rooms.

Great hostel over all. Very clean, garbages in bathrooms could have been emptied more but other than that I had no problem with the cleanliness. Staff was very helpful accept one guy with such a strong accent I couldn't understand him. Need your key card with you at all times cause you need it to get in like every door. It was a bit cold but all in all I liked this hostel

We stayed Saturday night so the hostel was really busy, but the staff were really organised and helpful which meant everything works really well. There is free parking which was great and not far from the centre of Dublin. Would definitely use again.
