I loved staying at the hostel and warmly recommend it. The landlords were very friendly, I was allowed to check in even outside official check-in time, and they prepared a lunch package on shortest notice PLUS their self-made bread in the lunch package is the best I've had in Ireland! The location is fantastic, the room, kitchen, bathrooms were clean. I also like that they take waste segregation and water conservation seriously.

I stayed at Dun Chaoin Hostel while on the Dingle Way. The hostel building itself is quite old and the beds felt like they'd been well used over the past years, but it's in a lovely location with stunning views of the Blasket Islands. The lady running the hostel was very helpful and lovely to talk to - she keeps some bits to eat, and there's a computer with internet access and free wifi. You have to buy food in Dingle or Ventry, there's only a pub in Dun Chaoin but no shop.
