We really enjoyed our stay. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were as good as you would expect in a hotel. The "Pipers room" was interesting perhaps a little spooky for me! Thank you

I have booked the single room and it was fine. The house is definitely very nice and authentic and the staff very friendly. It is close to the train and to the bus station as well as in the heart of the city center with stores and restaurants near by. I did not use the kitchen but it looked really good and I like the idea of having separate rooms for dining, computer usage and TV. Only downside: the walls are quite thin so I good hear the noise from the stairs next to the room.

I only stayed for one night and didn't use the common facilities, but my room had fantastic charm in this old building (one of Dundees oldest).

No complaints really, good solid hostel. Fun score lowered slightly as the games room was being used for a private party, but I understand it is not a regular occurrence. Would happily recommend it.

I stayed just a night. The room was tiny but lovely. The toilets and shower were super clean. I slept very well. The building is amazing, in a great location. All good!

It has all the things you need: Kitchen, Games, Wifi, TV, Reading room. Although the wifi is not so fast, but I recon this is one of the best hostels I've ever known.

Really interesting use of a historic building with nooks and crannies of an 18th tennement renovated and turned into hostel rooms. Clean throughout, cheerily decorated with friendly staff.

There should be a more noticeable sign that shows the entrance, because I had difficulties finding it and while I was saying I guided about 5 or 7 people to the hostel because they couldn't find it. Apart from that it's awesome!

On Internet it might be as a hugh building but the door is very little so maybe you can put something that everyone can notice the hostel better. Because I didn't found it at my first time.

It's a great place to start. DD backpackers is a great place where I happened to meet my new flatmates. Great people over there, too. I definitely recommend it.
