Felt very welcome the moment I walked through the door!! As I could only stay one night due to travelling through I didn't get to interact with the other guess! The only thing I could suggest which was a let down for me was the bedding quality and the Brocken blinds that wouldn't stop any mourning sunlight coming through!! All in all a little bit more maintenance and it would be great!!

Must be the best hostel in LA! Cheap, clean, pancakes for breakfast, good atmosphere, great service. The staff was truly amazing, they help out with everything, with whatever information you need or if you're in any kind of trouble. I also liked that there are two kitchen/common rooms, where one is more quiet (so you can choose). The area is safe and buses run close by.

The best thing about this hostel is the friendly and VERY helpful stuff working there! No maps available! The area is ok, didn´t seem too dangerous, but I also didn´t go out after sunset. The beds were old and the sheets not really clean, so I was happy to have my sleeping bag with me! The bathroom situation in the morning is definitively a problem, as the hot water for the showers running out too fast as well! It wasn´t really a clean hostel. I liked the 2nd quiet kitchen! : )

Cool hostel with a nice vibe. Should mention the bathrooms though, they're ok but do need a little improvement. Apart from that it's a great place

The staff is so friendly and make me feel at home. And I put my luggage there for a few days, when I come back to take them but didn't stay, they are still so friendly to me, next time when I come to LA, I will come back again. It is like me LA's home.

Friendly attentive staff, clean and orderly accommodations. It is way past time for new mattresses before someone gets cut on a spring again.

I loved this hostel, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so helpful, with what to do and where to go. It was nice how homely this place felt, and the free breakfast was a nice touch! It is pretty easy to get to everywhere you would want to from the hostel with a quick bus ride! I really liked staying here!!!!

This is one of the cheapest hostels in LA, and the people there is incredible. That said, both the location and the facilities could use some improvement. The place is in the middle of Koreatown, which is one of the worst areas in LA. The house itself is a bit inconvenient, the bathrooms are inside other people's rooms, so if your room does not have a bathroom, good luck queuing in the only bathroom. Unless you want to go outside in the morning to the large bathroom they have in the back.

I don't even bother checking for accommodation at the other hostels whenever I go to LA, this is always my first and favourite choice! Awesome staff, great atmosphere, fun activities, this place is one of my very favourite hostels anywhere.

Really enjoyed my time here, it's centrally located so you're not too far from Downtown and only 45 minutes on the bus from Santa Monica. Koreatown (where the hostel is situated) is a good neighbourhood and I never felt unsafe.

I don't expect much from a hostel, my main concern is friendly staff and this was the worst hostel I have have ever stayed in. We were blatantly overcharged for our booking, according to their own policy, and then told the only way to get it back was via email. Our emails were met by generic replies restating the policy even though we were overcharged according to the policy. When I ask for a breakdown of our receipt, they refused, obviously because they couldn't explain the massive overcharge.

I had an awesome stay at duo housing. The location wasn't the best in terms of access to LAs major attractions, but it did not detract from our Los Angeles experience because the staff at this hostel were incredibly helpful in informing us about transportation and with any other questions we had. What made this hostel extra good was the atmosphere within the hostel and the friendliness of the staff.

They told me I would feel home and I enjoyed my stay there. I believe the place is excellent to stay cheap and have quick access to the 3 main parts of LA: Beach, Downtown, Hollywood. It's just 1 bus to go around, a bus is cheap and easy.

At first sight it doesn't look like a hostel, and get inside doesn't help because there's no front desk, but there's always someone from the staff to welcome their guests. It's a pretty nice place to stay, i can even call it home.

I had a good stay here. The staff were helpful, there's a good atmosphere amongst the guests and the staff and the pancake breakfast is a definite bonus.
