the room was downstairs with no windows at all. Bad smell of cigarettes. The door of the room was very instable (security?) The bathroom was ok good shower. The staff had problem to use the credit card reader. What was a positive suprise was a good breakfast with toast, jam, ham, cheese, serials, Juice, fruits and tea. Much more then in hostels.

The staff were lovely, and it is in a convenient location close to the centre of Dublin, but the B&B was run-down. We had a bed that felt like it was going to fall apart at any moment, and a vent in the window leading directly to the main street, meaning that we could hear every small (and large) noise outside. Bathrooms were not particularly clean. Overpriced for what it was.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size and had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Excellent location walkable to most of the venue's we wanted to go to and especially close to airport bus stop. Would definitely recommend as value for money.

The first room we were given smelt stronly of cigarette smoke and obviously hadn't been cleaned well as the floor was filthy and there was mud on the curtains. Because of this we asked to change rooms and the staff were very acommodating and gave us a different room that felt a lot cleaner. The only problem was the key didn't really work to get in! But all the staff were helpful. The breakfast wasn't good, just toast and fruit.

We enjoyed our stay at Durban Residence. The staff--Peter, Mario and Michael-- were more than helpful! From helping to arrange an early morning cab to recommending restaurants, they were enthusiastic and helpful at every turn. The location was on the North side of the river, which could be thought of as away from some of the livelier spots, but it was a quick and safe walk to the Spire and then down O'Connell Street. We had an ensuite room & felt safe & secure at the hostel. I recommend it!

The room was very dirty. Sheets of the bed and towels were okay. It also was very, very noisy. Window was broken and was patches with Tesa! Room doesn't look in any way like the picture. There was a carpet which was really disgusting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Location was excellent!

The staff were very nice and the room was comfortable but there was no curtain at our window, which overlooked the smoker's patio and the window did not lock, which was not helpful for making the room feel secure and private.

I just passed a whole week end in Dublin with my girlfriend, we're both French and we stayed at Durban Residence. It is a really nice B&B, everything was nice and the staff was really helpfull and nice. And when I say really helpful, I mean REALLY helpful ! Nothing much to say, it worth the money. I just noticed the lack of fresh orange juice for the breakfast, it's the only thing I can really think of ! Keep up the good work !
